Hello!

The lovely Disneycrazee has inspired me to pursue international copies of the Frozen soundtrack!! :)

I would love:

French
Norwegian
Swedish
Polish
German
Mandarin Chinese
Thai
Italian
Russian
Greek
Japanese (when its released)
Vietnamese
Spanish

But I am open to more!

I am more than willing to pay for your time and of course the cost of the CD and shipping! Don't need deluxes, just the simple discs. Thank you so much!
I also am opening to trading for pins or merchandise or whatnot!

There is no official Flemish CD, but I can always rip the songs from the DVD when it comes out, if you would want them.
I quite like "Let it go" in Flemish, I usually hate them, and Hans is being voiced by an amazing actor/singer from Belgium, so it really cannot be bad! lol

I used to collect foreign Disney songs. Got about 100 gigs of them.

I can help you with the Swedish one. If they ever release it! Still waiting. But the movie still has not premiered here so maybe it will come out after they start showing the movie in cinemas.

I would appreciate both of those very much! :) Thank you so much for the potential assistance, you are both so sweet!

Hi, regards to the Japanese soundtrack. Looking at the available Japanese information, it seems like that the Japanese soundtrack released in March, with be the same as the American soundtrack, with only one bonus song - which is the Japanese pop version of "Let it Go" (This one: Let it go - ありのままで)
And this soundtrack will set you back 25 USD (Gotta love Japanese prices)
So don't think it'll be the best addition to your collection.

If they release a dutch version I am happy to help :)

This is the Dutch version of "Let it go''

Yes it is one of my favorites! Absolutely gorgeous! I would appreciate that assistance as well! :) Please let me know any updates, you are so sweet to offer to help!

Have you checked iTunes or did you want physical CDs?

I would prefer physical CDs, because I like to jam out in my car!! Lol.

I tried to post yesterday, but for some reason it didn't go through.
I just wanted to say that in regards to the Japanese soundtrack (I'm an European girl who speaks Japanese and who's moving to Japan), it'll be released in the middle of March, but when I read the Japanese information about it, it seems like it will just be the US release of the soundtrack with the added bonus of the Japanese pop version of "Let it go" (Let it go ~ ありのままで ~).
This will even set you back 25 USD (the beauty of Japanese pricing - compared to the US). So I unfortunately don't think I'll be a good addition to your collection.

Hello :)

I live in Munich,Germany. I don't know if they have a CD here, but if you like, I can keep an eye out for one! The movie has already been released and was popular, so there must be some stuff available.

Are the cds different from country-to-country then? I always presumed they would just be the same! :)

Think she wants the soundtrack in the certain language of the country. Meaning she wants the songs in German if it's released.
I searched on the internet and it doesn't seem like Denmark released a soundtrack in Danish, even though it's a famous singer who voices Elsa.

I looked up online, on German amazon, there is a frozen soundtrack where the first lot of songs are all in German, but it also has the English versions on the cd afterwards too.

Thank you both for the information! :) I am really stunned that there will be no Japanese CD release with the Japanese language versions of the songs :( Hopefully that changes!

I appreciate the information and the offers to help!! Please PM me if anything becomes available! :D

I was surprised too, since doing a quick search on other Disney soundtracks in Japan, they have Japanese songs.
If a CD release with actual Japanese songs shows up in March, I'll let you know :)

I live in Stuttgart, and they sell them at Saturn, but they were sold at my store.

The main difference is the covers. Not every country has the same covers.

Some countries don't have any official CD's.
Belgium had a few in the beginning, but stopped after 3 or 4 movies.

Iceland does not have any. They do however sometimes record 1 or 2 songs, for compilation CD's in Scandinavia.

Other CD's, like mentioned about the German version, is possible to have the native language of that country on it & the English versions.
(for example, I have the A Goofy Movie soundtrack and it's a combo of Dutch & English versions).

Here's a great website you can keep an eye out for.
They ship everywhere I believe.
I bought the Norwegian & Danish Lion King soundtracks from this website about 2 years ago.
It's mainly Scandinivian CD's you will find there.

You can search on the English title, but it'll come in handy if you search for the title in Norwegian, Danish, Swedish ...

Oh, thank you so much for the link!! This is very interesting to look through!

So much help from so many awesome members around the world! I truly, truly appreciate all of the assistance! <3

I just want to make sure, have I said anything offensive? My thread has a 1 star rating and I want to make sure that I haven't misspoke or stated something culturally incorrect :(

If there comes a Dutch version, I wil let you know. Will keep you updated :)

Not to me, don't think you said something wrong :(

I should be able to find the GERMAN version (Die Eiskönigin) of this CD.
I believe the CD has most of the songs in German, plus the English versions too.

Not sure how much postage costs will be to USA though as I have never posted there. Anyone have a rough idea? If not, I will have to check before you pay.

If I know how many people definitely want this cd in GERMAN, I will have a look and see if I can get it tomorrow (it may be order-able even if not in stock at the time.)

Please only say you want one if you are sure though, as I will only buy the CD if someone definitely wants it and is happy to pay for it!

You should be able to look up the shipping company that you want to use or the German national post office - like "Deutsche Post".
On their homepage they should give an estimate of the price for shipping. First the weight/size and then, within Germany, within Europe and Worldwide.

Just went to Deutsche Post homepage and if you go to Portokalkulator everything is written there (I still remember my high school German - haha). Just use one of your own CDs as an example if you need to figure out the weight and size or look up the Frozen CD on the internet, since most shops write these informations.

:( I have sad news. I just learned that they probably wont release a physical CD o fthe Swedish soundtrack this time. They will just release it on Spotify and Itunes :(
