Is this etiquette pin trading ?

I dont think you should be posting the PM here though, if people ask for it then fair enough but do not make it public knowledge as now all the people who will read this will be on a witch hunt like some of the posts in here that say tell me who it is so I dont deal with them... its quite unfair but thats just my opinion.

I am still not understanding why feedback should be left at all?

So from now on if I am negotiating a trade with someone, assume the trade is a go, proceed to send my address and the other trader doesn't, I should leave neutral feedback for that exchange?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe iTrader was created to give Positive, Neutral, or Negative feedback for trades that were CONFIRMED (by both parties).

Agreed!!! Im not just saying this just cause I know the trader just it seems a little unfair now people have added her to their little black book of *oooh dont trade with that one*

I kind of agree, Danny, I sort of feel like this whole thread has been a pile-on, and it definitely has a "pitch fork" feel to it in certain areas. It definitely feels like "punishment" more than "I have a question".

Tinker, I think you are overreacting. Sybil consulted with me and I told her in my opinion it wasn't a fair trade. I'm thinking you know that too otherwise you wouldn't be blowing this out of the water the way you are.

I personally would be hestitant to trade with YOU because you are always quick to blow things way out of proportion.

I definitely don't think feedback should have been left period, as the trade was never finalized. Until it has been, I think the trader has the right to change their mind. It is after all, THEIR pin and not yours, and they can do whatever they like with it.

I'm not trying to attack you, and I hope it doesn't come across this way. I'm only trying to point out that maybe you need to take a step back and see both sides of things, and not be so quick to make potentially detrimental decisions.

You are totally correct.

If the other trader has not sent you their information, then the trade is not finalized. If a trade is not finalized, then feedback is not needed.

I agree with this. And I dont think it comes across as attacking.

I can see tinker being a little disappointed but when the trade may not be fair then any trader has the right to thing about it and decide later, Ive had traders who confirm the trade right away with their address and then wait for you to reply with yours but in that time you might have second thoughts.

I say you should remove the PM as it is not fair on Sybil and should be left to PM's if people want to know the details which I think is quite rude in itself ONLY fair if someone genuinely ripped someone off or scammed them.

Brandy I was waiting for a Tinker bashing . I copied & pasted the PM to prove my point . I tried to remove the feedback, for your information and for some reason it is not allowing me to do so . I contacted a mod to help .
And before you bash me, there are six others she has pulled this on before . Just because you have had a good repore with Sybil, others have had the same problem . As I said, trying to change or delete feedback .
I've been told by mods I'm very well liked her bt most . For the few that doesn't what can I say ! You can't like everyone, but I respect your suggestions .
As soon as a mod or admin, hits me up, it will be changed . I did what others thought was right as well .

I can't speak for everyone else but I know I asked just so I had an idea of who it was and just as a caution to myself. It doesn't mean that I have her in my "little black book" of who not to trade with. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and just because one has a bad experience with a trader doesn't mean I will. I do not know the whole story, but just wanted to be aware. I personally don't start threads like this nor never will because not everyone will handle information in the same way and wouldn't want to hurt someones reputation.

As I stated, I didn't intend to "bash" you. Sorry that you feel that way. I just think sometimes you (and others that read your posts) forget there are two sides to every story.

I don't dislike you, by the way. I think you often have good ideas/insights/contributions. But I do feel you have a tendency toward the dramatic. Just an observation/opinion. Sorry if you think that's "bashing."

now this is the response that is not needed, Brandy wasnt bashing you and you read too much into things. Yes I know Sybil but what happens with other traders should NOT affect anyone elses decision to trade with her. I find all this backstabbing to be one reason why people tend to leave.

People have had bad experiences with me before now and Ive had bad experiences as well but I dont go plaster them online for others to see as my opinion shouldnt be taken as fact. As everyone has to form their own opinions and deal with each trader as they see fit. otherwise no one would be trading with anyone as not every trader is perfect.

When all the stuff came up about you Tinker, I never judged you or slammed you, and I still dont think any differently of you from whatever Ive read, until I have to deal with you personally then I have no right to decide what my opinion should be of you. Just like everyone who has read this thread should make their own decisions and opinions and not just go off what they read.

We now have responses from both sides of the story, as well as enough constructive feedback. I don't think any more needs to be said at this point. Time to close up shop! Please leave your 3-D glasses in the bins on your way out
