ZAPPED! It's Christmas in April! Zaps and Birthday Surprises!! Oh My!
Ok take a deep breath and try not to over heat!! Take a look at what I got for birthday gifts and fantastic zaps!! I'm telling you this has seemed more like Christmas than April/Spring! (except for the lack of rain and snow there that is :lol
So this starts off with Gina (pdgurl) and I putting together a raffle to help attendance at our last NorCal pin meet. Gina and Shaun (MrShaun) are some of the nicest people you ever want to know!! First off we agree to meet for dinner the night before the meet ... they walk in to the restaurant carrying a big "arrangement" (on a very cool "Happy Birthday" plate) loaded down with "Bundtinis" ... ok for those that don't know, these are little minis of the best bundt cake you'll ever find ... from the "Nothing Bundt Cake" bakery. OMG and holy cow!! These are beyond yummy!! Next they won't let me pay for dinner ... "it's your birthday" they say ... um, isn't that what the bundtinis are for?? :lol: Nope, I'm not winning this one, lol!
Saturday it's Pin Meet time! I'm met with balloons and this very cute gift card from the super cool, super nice, super StitchTrader and his lovely family!!
Then Gina and Shaun hand me I huge bag full of goodies :eek2: AND then a box of See's Candy suckers with "Happy Birthday" ribbons on each one :wat: ... to pass out to everyone at the pin meet! It's a happy birthday from me to them kind of thing ... but Gina and Shaun are the ones that got these!! :dunno: Inside the bag are all these goodies PLUS a ton of yummy Ghirardelli chocolates :naughty: I'm still shaking my head, lol! Gina and I have tons of fun and text back and forth a lot! We make each other laugh and we seem to make great co-conspirators for all kinds of things!! :naughty: Can't wait to work on our next "project" lol!!

The lovable and darling Eva (EChan50) has brought me the DSF Kitty Train pins (from a trade I made with PinCrazy) AND a ZAP ... make that a MEGA ZAP from her! She knew I had been having some health issues and seemed like things were a bit much for me a few weeks ago ... much better now ... anyway, on top of all that, she had several of the new Tsum Tsum pins!! Oh these are soooo cute! So I asked her about trading and she took all 8 of them out of her pin bag and gave them to me!! :eek2: Wow! Cool! Ok Eva what do you want for these?? She briefly ... and I do mean briefly looked at my traders and said ... ah nothing! :wat: Huh? What do you mean nothing?? No, I want you to have these! OMG!!! Ok so when you DO decide on something, PLEASE Eva let me know and I'll get it to you ASAP. (ah David and my good buddies here on DPF ... I need some help to make sure I can avenge myself ... oh I mean return this generosity and kindness to Eva :rofl Here's what I got from Eva ...
Whew!! I'm overwhelmed ... and then to get the very cool zap from David as part of his 52 weeks of zapping! I am blown away!! So that's how my week went from April 11 through today ... how are things in your part of the world?? :hug: :wavey: :rock: :hug:
