Hi to everyone that I've ever chatted with. Since getting a new computer with widow 8 I've not been able to get into DPF chat. I've tried absolutely everything. My son says to try an older computer with window 7. I'll check that option out. Until then let me know you're still out there. Love you all and hope to chat with you all soon.

Nope, it's not just you. I think it's been a year since I successfully got into the chat, and that was with all that enabling java crapola and having to go use a different browser.

you need to have a computer running windows 3.11 and internet provided by AOL using version 3.0 while browsing using netscape navigator. but make sure no one picks up the phone.

I can still get in chat but I did have to overide thd security settings in java to do it. Its qnot that hard to do. I did it on a mac but I woukd assume its possible on windows as well. I used to spend a fair amount of time in there. Was talking about it the other day actually. Now I know why it is so empty. People just cant get in.

I know I was helping people with a work around for months and then with the latest update even i can't get in :/ I don't even get the security pop ups anymore.

I'll download the new Java now and have a play and see what happens. But if you can't do it I doubt I can.

I no longer get that security pop up either.

Ive done every update to java and my browsers and all I get now is "This plug-in is not supported".
