My name is Dan and I'm a pin-a-holic !!

Hi everyone, my name is Dan and I am relatively new to the world of pin trading. I got hooked on pin trading shortly after a vacation to WDW a year ago. I live about 45 minutes from Orlando and I am a frequent visitor to WDW. Pin trading is a fun and economical way to bring a piece of Disney magic home. The pins are affordable, small, and they can be traded for new or different pins as your interests change. I recently attended my first PTN event at Disney and had a blast seeing all the amazing pins that are out there and the hardcore fans that trade them. It was definitely a learning experience and I look forward to going to them on a regular basis. I also look forward to meeting new people and making new friends along the way. I havent done any trading online through the forum yet but I can see myself getting caught up in it pretty easily. I'm always updating my haves, wants, and trades lists so feel free to contact me if I have something in my trades list you're interested in. Im very laid back and easy going when it comes to trading. You don't necessarily have to have a pin I'm looking for in order for me to want to trade with you. I enjoy pin trading as a hobby not a business!!

hi, dan welcome to DPF. you are so lucky living close to wdw. central illinois is too far away. i collect chip dale pins. so if you ever get any keep me in mind would love to trade. DPF is awesome for pin-a-holics. there are so many nice helpful people here. so if you have any questions someone will have the answer. sometime when you are in the magic kingdom look up scoop on main street, so knowledgeable on pins. hope to see you in chat sometime. trudy in illinois.
