Hi everyone Im honeybunny
Recently I have been looking into collecting and trading Disney pins. I live in San Antonio Texas so obviously I dont get to visit the parks very often at all :/
So I looked into online trading!
Basically I have zero pins in my collection lol So I really plan on reading through the different threads and learning more and the best way to get started.
Or if any of you have tips that would be great.

Anyways I am very happy to be here and super excited to start collecting!

Hiya welcome to DPF! Since you arent close to the parks and are looking for pins I would look and see if theres a Disney Outlet in your area. They usually have some sort of selection of pins. Should be enough to get you started

Hey, when looking for pins just be careful of fakes. There is lots of advice on threads that will help direct you. eBay can be a good way to get a pin collection started but just be careful. Welcome to DPF.

Welcome, I'm new too!

Ebay is a great way to start "looking". Some nice quality pins may be obtained through Ebay, but just do your research and find out what you really like-just by looking! Some people sell their pins on the expensive side while others just want to get rid of them for less of a price. Pin Pics takes getting used to, but once you start your "searches" and plugging in your wants and trades, I think that will also give you an idea of what you would like to collect.

Hello and welcome! I live about 9 hours from WDW, and pin collecting can sometimes get difficult. Ebay is a great resource, just be very careful. Don't fall for the pin lots for 9.99, those are scrappers (or counterfeit pins). When I buy on ebay, I look for pins that come on the original card, have the actual picture of the pin and sellers with 100% feedback. The selling boards on DPF are also a great resource. I have gotten some great pins from there!

Be careful...you are entering a fabulous but a completely addictive hobby!

Thank you!! And Ive been very careful about who I buy from on ebay! The first one I bought I didnt even research the seller and I got a fake. But after I have basically been looking out for what you said And ive gotten some great real pins! And I am already very addicted!!!
