Hi I was a pin collector and trader going to the parks as a kid, but unfortunately lost that collection years ago. I got into other pin properties later and recently a friend went to WDW and got me some Disney pins and it reinvigorated me to start my Disney collection again!
I’m currently working on a Pain and Panic/Hades collection!

So excited to find this forum 🙂

Oh I love Pain and Panic! I wouldn't mind adding more of them to the current collection. Hope you can grow your collection with the help of people here on the Forum and welcome. Happy to have you join us!

Welcome from another newer member. Since you asked about other properties, I'm curious too, but I'll let you answer first. The pin community here seems to cover a lot beyond one theme, which is part of what makes it interesting to read through. I'm still learning how the boards are organized, so threads like this help. What got you into collecting in the first place?

Welcome from Madison. Like the second poster, I'm curious what else you collect, and I'd add to the last question: was there a particular pin or trip that started it for you? I'm still getting a feel for how the boards are organized too, so threads like this are a helpful way in. Looking forward to seeing what you share.

The question about what got someone started is a good one, and I'd echo it — the story behind a first pin usually says a lot about the collection. As another newer member, I'm still figuring out the board layout too, so seeing how longer-time collectors frame things here helps. It's interesting that the community ranges well beyond a single theme; that range is what keeps me reading. What I'd like to see is how people decide what to focus on once the collection grows.
