Hey, so I just added Pin 89837: Disney On Classic: Journey 2011, Tangled to pinpics.

I just got it today so here are some pictures for you:



I just got it today and I think it is really cute. I actually went to the show it is from, Disney On Classic, in November of last year. I put this on pinpics but some of these pins didn't actually come from the show (well some of them went to people who attended but we bought our tickets less than a week before so we didn't enter the show lottery) but they came from various lotteries, you can see the other ones from the same show (Cinderella, Ariel, Giselle) on pinpics, Pirates of the Caribbean is not up there but it exists too. I just wanted to post this because I am pretty excited. Also the information on pinpics about the other pins in this series was incorrect, so I tried to update that. I did all the research about this pin in Japanese, but I can link the pages if anyone is interested.

**Chances of me ever finding another are about as good as me getting the R/C Rapunzel I need to finish my collection probably (so about zero percent) but if I ever did it would go straight to my traders so no need to ask.

Its a great pin - I hope they release an Aladdin one. Mary, your package arrived today, I have kept it in my drawer and won't open until the 11th thank you x

My friend wants to go again if they tour before I leave Japan (I would be okay not going haha because the show wasn't that great but one last memory with my bff here and all that), I don't know if they have done Aladdin before but it seems like they are always changing the line-up and if it is added to the new tour I will try to see how I can enter the lottery for the pin for you. And man now that I know you have it I want you to open it... but don't listen to me okay?!
 

Okay I won't! Ahh well done you have got a Holy Grail (Tiana) looks like a nice pin. I can't believe the next release is 2 days to go... these days are going past too quick for my liking. Will send you an email this weekend/monday ish if successful
 
Thanks for posting the information about the show, it helps with the Lion King one that I an trying to track down and I know you are keeping an eye out for me. At least I know it is not from a store which means it is going to be even harder to source.
 

Don't worry, I did not forget and I have been looking. Hoping for good luck at the trading event, still no word if it is going to be in April or May though.

The wrong info on that pin had been annoying for weeks since I started digging around the internet about these pins and realized it was from the show I went to (I know even in the picture I posted you can't tell that it says Disney ON Classic, but I promise it is there!!!!!!!). First they just put my added info underneath the wrong info but they finally changed it on pinpics after I linked them to the Japanese article about the source.
 

Hi Mary - I have changed the 4 titles that I added to Disney On Classic (Ariel, Giselle, Lion King and have added Japan to the title for search references.

Oh if only I had known you had added those pins, I really wanted all the titles to match so thanks!!
And I guess in a minute here you are going to see the long e-mail I just sent you in reply to yours with a bunch of "Disney On Classic" pins linked, if you start adding those I am going to feel compelled to go back and read all the Japanese text on them! ><
 
What a great pin Do we know how many they had to giveaway for the lottery? It also explains why the Ariel and Giselle versions were never popping up anywhere no matter how hard I searched haha

They do pop up from time to time. The Cinderella, Lion King, Giselle and Ariel I saw all of them one day but didn't get them because they were quite pricey. I will be on the look out, though.

This is what Mary sent me in an email regarding how many pins were released:

"The site says only 5 people were chosen to win the prize package, and you get one pin only and you can't choose which one. I read in several places only 300 pins were given out, which would mean 60 of each exist.

Some pins were sold at the merchandise booth (very simple ones, I can't find pictures of any online) but they were sold out by the time the show got to our city (in Japan when goods sell out... they sell out forever, tough luck if you are the last city on a concert or show tour!)."

I am just guessing here you guys-- it looks like each place that had a give-away only got 5 pins, the pin you got if you won was random. I read on a few websites that 300 pins were given out in all. So with 5 themes that would mean 60 pins of each theme.:dunno:

Thanks for putting up the pin group Chloe I love it!! I hope to own the Giselle one too at some point.
