New to board and to pin trading

I grew up going to Disneyland every year as a kid but I never really got into the pin trading (for the lack of not knowing), last year in March I took my blended family to Disneyland and my step-son started trading, by the afternoon my two daughters joined in and I was hooked by a Stitch pin that my son got. This Christmas I surprised my kids and wife with a trip to Disney World in July (our first for everyone) and to say the least everyone is so ready to get more pins and trade. I'm still learning a lot, but I have discovered the PODM pins and I'm a huge movie buff and having a pin that has a film cell in them is just an amazing idea and I can't express how amazing that is. I can't wait to get my first one.

Quick question when do PODM go on sale, where can I find info on future releases.

I look forward to meeting and talking with a bunch of you before I head off to Disney World.

As far as PODM pins, as of right now they have quit making/selling them, however I have seen rumors that may change. :dunno: Wish you luck on getting you first one and building your collection! :x: You guys will have a blast at WDW!

Oh really no PODM pins anymore!!! I really hope they bring them back, I would buy them if I could. I'm hoping that when we go in July there is a pin trader night for the days that we are there.

You can find PODM's for sale in the Sales forum. People do trade them as well. Good luck with your hunt!

Thanks cjvandever for the info, I was hoping they would do more like Lilo and Stitch (because I would have to get one). I also have tons of film trailers laying around my house of movies like Star Wars and such and when I saw they combined a pin with a movie cell I was like genius.

If you ever end up with any Jessica or Frozen pins :lol: let me know! I have a signed Mulan PODM for trade! You should be able to build a nice PODM collection around the forums!

Hi Everyone! I'm fairly new to this site, I've been a member for awhile, but finally had some time to do some browsing and reading! I'm looking forward to pin collecting! Does anyone know if a site or board exists that has the pins broken down by when they were released? I know this is probably crazy, but i'm looking for a starting point, there are so many of them!

Oh Frozen pins I'll never be able to keep, my two daughters have laid claims to everything Frozen. They are very much like Elsa and Anna, my oldest is Elsa (introverted) and is leaving for college next year, my youngest who is super close with her sister is like Anna (extroverted) and before the movie came out they were purposely trying not to hang out to make it easier for next year but after watching the movie and hearing "Do you want to build a snowman" they realized that was the wrong way to go and to try and spend as much time with each other. But I will keep an eye out for Jessica pins for you!!!
