New to pin trading! Help!

Hi! I’m Jenna. I’ve been a WDW Passholder since May, and I have been slowly collecting pins since about 2010. I have never got into trading though, and have only traded on boards around the parks. I am REALLY wanting the Sonny Eclipse D pin from the WDW 2026 Wave B set, but I don’t have any other wave b chasers. Would a Mad Hatter D chaser from a different set be a comparable trade for Sonny? Or are those completely different values? It’s the only Hidden Disney chaser I have at the moment. Thanks in advance!

Hi ya and welcome to the Forum. If it’s the Mad Hatter that looks similar in design to Sunny then I would say yes. Super Chasers and the Disneyland D chasers are always going to be the highest valued chasers in my eyes but you’ve got a great chance at trading for Sunny! Welcome to the forum! I would say Yes, those are very much equivalent trades. They are both from WDW hidden disney sets and are both chasers. It's an equal trade. If anything, yours has slightly more "value" IMO since it's a litle older and you don't see older ones as much. The Sonny one is brand new and people are just starting to buy and open those packs so there are a lot around. But yours is just from last year so still recent and I believe those packs are still available for purchase. So again, quite comparable.
