Just a note to say Hi and I will be lurking for a while to get my ForumLegs. I am a regular trader at DLR and get to WDW about twice a year. More later.

How long before I can post attachments? Is there a menu of forums that I have not found yet?

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to DPF. I'm not sure if there is a minimum time/posts before you can post attachments, although there is a minimum of 10 days and 30 posts before you can create new threads.

Welcome! I'm new here too and haven't yet figured out how to attach images and such without it living on my own outside URL. I'll let you know if i figure it out!

Hey there! I wanted to let you know that i figured out how to add images. You can't upload them straight to the forum so you have to get an account (if you don't already have one) from an outside source like photobucket or picasa. Since I have a google account already I went ahead and chose picasa. You upload your photo into your album and then click on the add image icon. When it asks for the URL you put in the embed code provided from your photo account. I found a tutorial here: http://www.fishsniffer.com/forums/soap-box/88217-how-post-pictures-using-picasa.html

Hi there and welcome to the forum. As far as I've seen there isn't an option to upload your own attachments directly from the posting reply page. Go to My Profile at the top of the page and scroll down where it says album. Click on "more" right next to it, then add new album, then upload pictures. When you save it gives the direct link and BB code on the forum to upload on the page and should look like this when you paste it.
attachment.php

Other than that, there's other online storage options such as photobucket and they don't have the MB limits that the site has either.

Thanks for the tremendous welcome. I must appologize for not responding sooner but...
first I forgot my password:
then I got tied up in some other personal events:
then I headed out on a roadtrip on Halloween and did not get back until after Thanksgiving:
Then I had to remember my screen name here and figure out how to reset my password (not an easy thing to do).

Hopefully, I will start showing up here now, get to know people, and gain the wiskers to start posting threads and pictures.
