I never expected to be rak'd so needless to say I was shocked when I received a large box from Li and and small package from Speedwaystar.. I cried at the generosity of the family members here on DPF.

First I got these awesome buttons of some of my favorite characters. Thank you Sara.

This is all the goodies that I received. A very soft and cute teddy bear that already has a place with the rest of my stuffed animals. So candy I can't wait to try. A very cute coloring book I am going to have fun with.

And Bookhugger are you trying to tell me something?? Lol.. I am kidding I love the cookbook and can't wait to try to some of the recipes in there. I gave up fast food just under 4 weeks ago so this should be a nice thing to help me out.

Here is the pins I received... some of these I have never seen.. and others have been on my wants list for ages. And then there was one I thought I would have to try and trade an arm or leg for to complete the 60th Anniv Diamond Walt pins. So many of us saw what Speezard had to deal with that day of the Red Diamonds and he was unable to help out so many of us with that one... including me.. so I was beyond SHOCKED when I unwrapped that. However all the pins I have received have a very proud place in my collections. I can't believe I had never seen that Walt with Chip and Dale pin. I am also so glad that my pin budget is gone because I almost bought the Maleficent and Briar Rose pin (that is so much larger than I thought it would be)

Congratulations Kristina! It was hard to not say anything, especially when you PM'd saying you hadn't received a PM for February's RAK. :lol:

RAK= stands for Random Act of Kindness.

Once a month a nomination thread is opened for the entire DPF family to nominate someone to be the next "victim." The person with the most nominations is chosen. Then a group of us are then notified (we are all volunteers) and we send packages (gifts) to a specific location and then the one who runs this (currently Starry_Solo) sends all the gifts to the victim. It is essentially a person being Zapped by a bunch of people at once.

I've always wondered what you'd do when a RAK victim was on the RAK list! Give them a fake RAK victim and send their present back to them? Have one other person get mysteriously zapped? :D

yeah we should talk about that Li... sooner or later the rak list will figure out if they do not get a PM then they are the victim and then the surprise is spoiled. LOL
 
Always love seeing the RAK threads...You are such a deserving recipient Kristina, congratulations on all the incredible surprises!!! :wiggle: I need to get my butt in gear so I can get back on board with these!!! :facepalm: I know it doesn't take much more than time...unfortunately that is one of the things I haven't had a lot of lately! :lol: I am sorry I did not manage to get anything sent to you for this Kristina, but know that I am very appreciative of all you do around here and very proud to call you part of my DPF family!!! :hug:
