The perfect distance between WDW and DL!
First off I would like to apologize for not posting sooner (I have been terribly scatter brained lately)…

Saturday I received a surprise package from Argentine!!!!

In the note she said "It's nothing spectacular" and included a pin from her most recent Disney race as a way of saying "thanks".

But………..This pin that was not on my wants list, is not connected to any one princess I collect and would not in any way "fit" into any collections…literally brought tears to my eyes and is just what I needed when I needed it most.



Not very many people at all know this about me (I am not very big on sharing my personal life so publicly) but I have recently started on a path that will one day lead me to my dream of running in the Princess 1/2 marathon! I have not had the best of years health wise (a couple really big scares and a couple nights in the hospital) and I NEEDED to make a change to better my life and make sure that I am around for my children. It will take me a while to get there as I can barely walk 5k right now….and I was ready to give up because I have even farther to go than I originally thought. However I am once again determined to get there and finish!

This pin has been placed on my "inspiration" wall, it is part of what I see every day... morning and night. What is an inspiration wall you ask?

It's motivation in picture form!

This is my inspiration to reach my goal, I WILL get there…..and the next race pin to find it's way into my collection will be the one I earn by getting there. 2016 Princess marathon here I come!

Wahoo ... it amazes me how often random zaps seem to appear to the right person at the right time!! Congrats and obviously much deserved!

Good luck on the quest. I know it too well as I'm pushing 240 lbs and have a goal to run Disney Half as well! Keep pushing and take your time ... you'll get there! :bigthumb:

What a wonderful zap from Argentine! Angie, you are an inspiration to others...including me! My husband & I have been talking about running a Disney half-marathon. I wasn't sure I could anymore...but after reading your post, I'm motivated!! Best of luck to you....I know you can do this, girl :rock:
