So, I started using PayPal Shipping Assistant a month or so ago (when my home printer died and I hadn't yet gotten a new one).

My question is this: If you want to insure the package and do signature confirmation, does the shipping label provide you two different numbers to scan at the post office (like you would get it you did get it at the post office)?

Or if you choose to do one (insure) or the other (signature confirmation) and then are charged the amount for it, can you then take it to the post office, get it scanned into the system and then pay for the extra service?

Thanks!

It just gives you one barcode. There is nothing on the label that indicates the package is insured which is good and bad. It's less tempting to thieves but at the same time they don't know to be extra nice to your package.
