PIN & POP PIN & POP Site Announcements & Ideas
In all these discussions about blemishes, I’m convinced a big part of the frustration comes from traders being mismatched. I wonder if we were asked to note our general flaw tolerance level on our profile, if that would help us trade with people who have the same expectations and make it less frustrating for all involved.

Or can we, at the bare minimum, change the term from 'Uncertain' to something else.

Uncertain makes people immediately move towards the spectrum of 'This pin is probably fake' and leads to far more cancellations and less tolerance of simple flaws .

Maybe even adding a category like 'Heads Up' that differentiates from Uncertain. When I see notes like 'Im leaning towards authentic but it's an old pin I've never seen before' I cringe because there is no reason that should be labeled negatively

Is there anyway to have the backer card yes/no copy over when a trade completes?
Same question for the blemishes or damage that is found on inspection?
That would help with trading the same pin again in a future arcade, especially if I want to trade a pin that is already at P&P

I think a lot of folks are staying away from the 2nd chance board because of the separate shipping required. I would love to see the option to ship with the next trade arcade. People don't want to pay shipping for one pin, then have another offer accepted the next day, and have to do yet another shipment.

I certainly have no interest in paying additional shipping costs, so I only offer rejected pins that are still at P&P. Two of the three pins I have listed on the 2nd chance board have been traded with no extra shipping on my end. There have been several pins listed that are on my ISO list, but I have decided the 2nd chance is only for my rejected pins. If the lister isn't looking for one of my rejects, then I do not make an offer. I will only introduce new pins into the P&P machine during trade arcades.

I'm thinking about only trading reject for reject so the trades will clear faster. My two 2nd chance trade partners have to send their pins into P&P which adds more processing time to the transaction. 🤔 If I only trade reject for reject, then the trade should automatically approve and be included in my next shipment, right?

I was doing the same, only offering pins that were already at P&P for the second chances which worked perfectly, my box just shipped and everything went smoothly. Now that we are only a week from the next TA I started offering pins from home and it looks like I should be able to ship them in the same box as my TA pins.

This, this is the exact reason why I will only look at the 2nd chance board near an event unless my pin is the reject. I really REALLY would prefer not to pay extra shipping if I don't have to.
