I am wondering, will there be a pin trading night in November at WDW, and if so, does anyone know what day it will be? I am trying to figure out my trip itinerary and if there is one, I might want to try and attend
 
I wish I had a crystal ball for you! It would seem going by the every other month rule that there would be a PTN in November. There really has been no rhyme or reason for the date they pick in the month. I will ask at this next PTN in May for you. I doubt they will know, though! Great time to visit, by the way!
 
I know they moved one of the marathons to Nov, which made the run Disney community not to thrilled and it seems they do not usually put a PTN event the same weekend as a run event. I wish they would cause i trade and he runs, so that would be a great trip for us. So maybe peek at the rundisney site to rule out a weekend?
 
with the PTE<mickey circus> in early sept it would make sense that we have one in Nov, however as Dawny said, schedules get juked around alot especially becuase MNNSHP is going on and only two short weeks till snowbird season opens
<this year the state of FL has intstituted a 3 snowbird per resident limit, however with a I-4 addendum pass, our new legistlature has allowed up to 10 per resident.>

My guess would be to see how well Sept event is attended and July PTN to gauge when they will be,

I could ask my magic 8 ball though.........

That is giving Disney WAY too much credit- we're lucky if we get ANY advance notice for a PTN.

If they had been sticking strictly to an "every other month" thing, we could at least guess- but it hasn't been very consistent. November will be weird, because we're having a PTN in early September, so it should be a skip month. But they might want to do it in November, if they want to avoid Christmas.

Either way, you're probably out of luck, because guessing which day it would be on would be tough.

I am hoping so. We are hoping take a little mid Nov trip so it would be nice if there were one the week we are there. :-)
 
I'm still trying to figure out why they picked May 11th for the next one. With SWW starting the very next weekend and people wanting to go for the SWW pin release, wouldn't it make sense that they would have had the pin night during that? I mean the PTN pin is of Donald as Darth Maul...it just makes no sense.
 
Opening for SWW is an all hands on deck affair, esp with the pin release,

I have several "mid management" friends whom work in offices at Epcot normally,

except SWW opening, even they will be out at 4 am helping to organize the mayhem,

so the reason for May 11 is probably logistical
