Okay just to clear the air... I may have been a bit harsh with my words when I (as well as plenty) was having a very difficult time getting hold of these pins and I let me emotions get the best of me. I didn't mean to make any personal attacks or to try and tarnish Pixar's workers, but I may have in my ranting process and I apologize for all that. With a little patience and luck, these pins will find their way to those truly seeking it so rather than all of us go bonkers, just wait it out. The hunt for these 2 pins is still more difficult than finding Nemo at P. Sherman's place on 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney, but at least we know someone from the DPF has them for trade.

And I still officially hate these 2 pins for being so darn tough to get but I'm not going to let it kill me like I have been!

I was lucky enough to be able to obtain a set of these. Now if I can just get the other set of Brave pins I'll be set.

Yeah these will be really difficult , *sigh* hopefully I'll be able to trade for them (maybe using my other brave pins lol) but I'm not holding my breath....

And yes- with pins you have to have money, more money, and then some pins (that are worth money!)

If you're absolutely desperate just call and tell the operator you'll give them $80 to buy you a set and tell her where to ship. Or ask for the employee store and see if you can get transfered. Sometimes people just don't expect that kind of out of the box thinking and you never know. Ask for a group tour of the studio plus a stop at the store and we will all drive up and go! Gas is less than the price of those dang things.
In my quest to get my pin app published in the Apple app store I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to get in contact with ANYONE at Disney that could help me. I googled everything I could think of and found a guys name. I called the operator and asked for him and low and behold they transferred me to him directly. Ingenuity!

Don't forget... you need to know people too! If you have a connection or someone who has all those you mentioned (as Mr. Potato Head says in the beginning of Toy Story "money, money, money" *kiss* *kiss* *kiss*), then you're going to have it good for pin trading/collecting. But if you don't... then you're just going to have resentment towards those lucky people and towards the world!

DARN YOU WORLD!!! Haha

Yes. Forgot about connections. Also very important. Sadly I'm not sure I have ANY of those ingredients! Lol

I know it is difficult but that is what makes is desirable. :/ They are nice looking pins and I wish I could have them too but the price is pretty high. Hopefully, they will cycle slowly to the traders on here.

If they were rack pins I'd still want them. Difficulty never makes pins more desirable for me (thankfully!). If its a cool pin it's a cool pin LE, OE , HM whatever. Though there are those who collect for collectibility. (and I feel sorry for them!)

Pixar does not offer Studio Tours.

Whoever bought last one paid $202 when buy it now was $125...ha!

Amy there wasn't a Buy-It-Now available during this time that the auctions were running. However last week there were a few and still those prices were ridiculous. AT LEAST LET THE PINS SELL OUT FIRST BEFORE KILLING THE SECONDARY MARKET WITH THE BLASPHEMOUS PRICES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes all those caps were my yelling in my thoughts. :)

There was. I'm looking at it right now. I think they took it down at some point but it still shows. I almost bought it a couple times. The marquee was buy it now of $115

Just in case you thought that idiot that overpaid for those pins on the bay was me - it was NOT. I got mine at a little above cost through a lot of hard work. I'm very proud to have them and they are sold out. I got the Pixar Studio set.

I can't believe it sold for over the buy it now price either. Ebay's policy is that the buy it now option goes away after a bid is placed. This has happened to me many times before where I could afford to buy the item at the buy it now price but I waited too long and it went away after a bid was placed and then I couldn't afford to get the item after everyone bid.

Well that makes sense! I apologize for not trusting in your words Amy... I didn't realize the BIN price disappears after a bid is placed just as jlp7ns mentioned. That sucks! Haha
