Re-using pin artwork
hehe this thread is amusing! I understand the frustration though, despite there being so few fox and the hound pins most of them have that darn log in the scene xD!

It is really frustrating that they use a lot of stock art.

lol, maybe it's because I don't collect most of the repeat offenders in question, but I really didn't notice so many pins have the same poses! I had at one point tried to put together a small Peter Pan collection and I believe he suffers from too few poses, too. He's usually in his flying pose, occasionally in his "hands on hips" pose and anything else is far and few between.

Oh, Pooh Bear! Winnie the Pooh totally has the same look over and over again.

I cannot be certain about this, but in an episode of the Disney Pincast, I believe it was explained that they have a library of character poses, so when any new pin is designed, they can use one of the predrawn characters, and design the rest of the pin around them. I suppose drawing the character perfectly every time a pin is designed could be pretty time consuming...

Yeah, we should just design our dream pins through a pin making company! (would disney sue us for copyright even though its just one or two pins for ourselves not to sell/ profit?)

Aaahhh...the lovely stock poses....

The infamous "Alice clasping her hands together" pose...

And Aurora really loves swishing her dress around...

And let's not forget Cinderella...

It's such a simple thing yet something i've never noticed before! I guess that's because I have never been able to decide on one set character to collect.. :L
