I'm not really a pin collector, I only own pins because I loved them when I was little and went to Disneyland Paris.
But, I'm going to university soon and so I need to make some money, hence, I'm selling my pin badges.
The only problem I have is that I have no idea how much they are worth. I'm looking at all sorts of pin badges websites and I cannot find a single one of my badges on any of them.
So I'm looking for some experts who can help me understand them a bit more so that i don't get mugged off.
So, how do I know how much they are worth?

emm...i'm not an expert by any means and hopefully someone will be able to assist abit more but if you go to pinpics.com and find your pins you have you can sort of gain a rough guess if there valuable or not from the wants vs trade ratio that will be on each pins individual page so say if there 4 people trading and 150 people want then it would indicate (although not always) that its high value. If the number are roughly the same or the wants are lower than people trading then not very valuable money wise (although again not always) you can also see if your pins are on eBay to compare prices but some of them are over inflate their prices and remain on the site for months and months without a single buyer.
I guess if i was really unsure and wanted to get rid of my pins i would prefer to over price them a little bit then gradually lower the price until they sell. (But this approach i would imagine would take a long time.)
Hopeful someone can help you more but there just my thoughts on how to do it.

I would list them as a bulk sale here first and then list them on Ebay if they don't sell here with pictures starting at .99. My experience has been you end up getting value of the pins you list when you list that way most of the time. It also gets the most people looking at your auctions and will attract those just looking for traders as well. JMO
