Shadowboxes for Pins?
Hi everyone!
I've been so inspired seeing people offer their handmade treasures for trade and I decided I wanted to get in on that sweet, sweet trade action. I'd like to offer my custom built shadowbox commissions up for trade. Building shadowboxes has become an incredibly fun hobby of mine, and I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on them. So what I'd like to offer is a one of a kind, custom made 8" x 8" shadowbox in a theme of the trader's choice!

This size shadowbox is bigger than the one I usually offer as a grand prize in my PAY THE HAPPY FORWARD contest, usually able to hold between 12-16 pins, depending on size/shape of pin. Generally, for this size commission I charge $40-$45, so I'd be looking for trades in that approximate value.
Only catch: Due to the fragile nature of the shadowboxes, I simply do not feel confident shipping them overseas and having them arrive in one piece. Additionally, because of their dimension and packing weight, they can be quite costly to ship, even domestically. As much as it pains me to do this, I can only offer this trade deal for domestic US traders only. (And trust me, if cost of postage wasn't so high and dangerous, I would trade with you lovely overseas folks ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.)
What am I looking for? Well, things from my want list, of course, but don't feel limited by the few pins I have listed there! I definitely love princess pins - OE, LE, whatever. Apart from my homegirl Rapunzel, I love Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and the Little Mermaid. I love sets/collections I can work on. I adore stained glass pins. Really, I'm open to lots of different kinds of offers, so don't hesitate to reach out to me and see if we can strike a deal!
