Some trading advice please! Solved, thanks!

Hi guys! I sent out a trade request yesterday and got a 'yes' reply back but I went and checked their references on dizpins and it says they have been banned. Its for a pin I really want and the person is obviously a regular trader. What should I do? Should I just decline, or should I ask around and see if anyone has traded with her recently?

You could always ask if they would send their pin out first and then you send yours?

Ha!! That's me!!! I was banned for a trade that went wrong and I was unavailable by email for a while because I was taking care of my husband instead of checking my email regularly. Their pin that I sent got lost in the mail (before I started using Paypal for my shipments with tracking) and she couldn't get a hold of me and neither could Dizpins, so I thought it was a done deal, when in fact I was banned. When I found out, weeks later, when Jon got out of the hospital, I immediately sent her pin back and apologized profusely. Then I contacted Joette, Dizpins crreator, and she replied back that the person who did the website for the Dizpins references was no longer available and she could not get in touch with him and so my ban would not be able to be removed. So, I have been banned ever since. That was years ago. I can give you other references if you would like them. Sorry for the scare. I have been dealing with this for a long time, but I love my email address and I don't want to give it up for pins...although I probably should!
