Sorry I'm a bit late! Work has been hectic over the past couple of days! I decided to go with this Disney pin as a way to stay with the theme. Thank you for offering me the opportunity @Pidge! I chose this pin specifically as this reminds me of the very first time my fiance' and I were able to get on the Haunted Mansion during halloween to enjoy the NBC themed version of the ride. What stands out to me about this pin, and what makes it special to me is that this was the first time my fiance' has ever gone to Disneyland during Halloween season! It was a very special moment for us both and it was something that I wanted to cherish. When I saw this pin become available, I had to have it! #5 for me, please! 🙂

I hope I’m adding this picture right. This pin is from I believe a 2010 pin of the month where they did Disneyland Classic Ds. It’s Mickey and Minnie doing the scene from the “Ye Olden Days” cartoons but also has huge brave little tailor vibes.

Back then, there were little mickeys to collect known as Vinylmations. My mom had been into pins since pins were first a thing at Disneyland (handed one in the late 80s or early 90s during a trip and the rest is happily ever after) but at this point in my life I hadn’t yet understood “the joy of pinning”.

January 2010, my mom gifted me this pin. This pin that showed Mickey and Minnie telling a ye old tale. This pin for a young girl (well 20 but young to me now!) who was scouring YouTube for all sorts of old Mickey cartoons (before Disney+). This pin that gave me all the feels of storytelling that I have loved my whole life being a creative writer (hence my name but that’s another story!)

This pin got me hooked! I have happily collected pins with no rhyme or reason ever since 🥰
