As a few of you know I have Ehlers-Dalos syndrome and have not been able to work full time in over a year now because Im in so much pain. I take rehabilitation and strong medications to try to get on my feet again but my doctors say that I might not be able to work full time ever again. I will not let that stop me but have instead started exercising a lot and my goal is to run the 10k at WDW princess half marathon weekend in february. I will not give up and let this thing beat me!

However me not being able to work have left me without some money I counted on for the D23 trip in 2 weeks. I need some funds so I can buy gifts for the girls and stuff.

So I have decided to try to sell my Coronation Anna 17" LE doll. But since I don't trust shipping for that I would like to sell it when I go to USA in 2 weeks. Will be at D23 and then Disneyland. Will be in Cali for one week.

Was thinking of putting her out on some Facebook groups for doll collectors or something but thought I should see if anyone here would be interested first?

Don't really know what I would want for her so I will start with 1300 dollars or best offer.

Let me know if anyone is interested before I try to find someone outside this forum.

And as I said I would rather sell it to someone I can meet because Im afraid it would get lost in mail or damaged.

My doll is new in box. Can send more pictures if anyone wants.

Good luck! It might be a bit difficult to sell right now because a lot of people are saving for D23 and those dolls!

yeah I guess Im not the only one that needs extra funds right now :) Well if I don't get it sold I will just have to turn to that action site and mail it from Cali where I atlas can get it traceable but I really hope I will find someone to sell directly too. Would rather let her go of less money than ship her in the mail. And the buyer saves shipping costs too so I have not lost hope yet, but maybe I just need to turn to the doll collection groups on FB. :)

I would suggest that too. You're probably going to want to ship and package it through Fed-Ex. It's a bit pricey (like $20-30 for the packaging materials and shipping varies on where it goes) but that way you don't have to worry about inadequate packaging. If it fits in your carry-on bag (I suggest a hard case on all sides), you may want to do that, rather than checking it in.

I got a few offers and I decided to go a little bit lower because I much rather sell to a DPF friend. I put it out for 1300 on FB and could go down to 1200 to the right person if I don't sell it for 1300. :)

Trying one more time. 1100 dollars. thats the lowest I can go. Otherwise I will just keep her. Know she will probably be worth more later on too. Last time this doll sold for that low on that auction site it was with a damaged box. Mine is perfect as far as I can see.

Might even consider shipping if you pay for tracked shipping. But best would be to meet up at D23 or Disneyland between the 12th of august till 19th of august.

Really need that money but won't give in to the sharks who just wants to use the fact that I'm getting desperate and just wants to make a big profit from her. Someone actually offered to "take her off my hands" for 400 dollars! :(

Yeah I tried FB too but don't really know where to sell it. I have someone offering 1000 dollars for it now. Thinking of accepting it because that still is a lot of money. I was really hoping to get more because I really need the money and don't really want to sell her, but I really want to enjoy the trip and shop lots of gifts for my girls so I guess that is the best I can get. And I will hopefully not regret it after. Its still a lot of money!

Is it in person or would you have to ship?

If you paid retail for it, then you're making $800-ish after taking out fees and shipping so you're doing ok.

No I did not buy it retail :) Not that it matters really. Im still selling something I rather keep just to get money that I was supposed to have if I did not have this stupid condition that is keeping me from working as much as I would want to right now.

But its ok. I just got to decide what is most important. Me having this doll on a shelf to look at or me being able to buy gift to my beautiful amazing girls whom I can not afford to bring on this trip.

That is in the end a really easy choice :D My girls are my life! They mean more to me than anything and making them happy is making me happy. They are the love of my life.
