Hey DPF family,

Not to sound like a grump, just something I have noticed in the last six months or so...

I have seen a lot of posts in Pin Discussion, that, yes, they COULD be in the Pin Discussion section, I think a lot of people don't realize that there are more appropriate sections to post them in.

Looking for a pin? Post in FOR SALE/WANTED.

Trying to figure out if you have a real pin or not? Post in Pin Comparison. :squint:

And I think ALL the DSF "waiting in line" threads could be very easily stashed in the Event Coverage section.

All the OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE ZAPPED MY GRAIL OF GRAILS!!!!!!!!!!11!1!!!1 posts? Pin Zaps and Swaps section!!!

Just sayin, we need to start looking around in those threads!!! I think I saw spiderwebs in the Co-Op section... :eek2:

But shouldn't this thread be in Forum Rules? Jk haha. I agree with what you are saying.

This!! So much. Yes, we have lots of different sub forums for a reason, but I also can see where people are coming from that "Disney Pin Discussion" is a very big umbrella!

I try to always post in the correct forum, but I think a lot of people post in the pin discussion folder just because it seems to get the most traffic? Thats my observation anyway lol.

This thread being in Pin Discussion... that's ironic, right? Are you trying to be hipster now!? That was soooooo 2 years ago.

But in all seriousness... if you see a thread that is out of place, report it! I'll move it as soon as I see it. (I don't ever check individual forums, so I never notice when they're out of place.)

Yup... I'm looking into getting that notification changed. You can report a post/thread for ANYTHING. Drama, rule violation, signature violation, incorrect forum, spam, excessive bumping, vulgar language, yatta, yatta, yatta.... And, yes, I get these kinds of reports often.... but not often enough! Questionable about a post? Go ahead and report it and a moderator can make the call.

would like to report self for posting lots of threads in discussion simply because it gets more traffic.

hahahahahahahahaha
