Just a reminder, I'll be doing pickups for the Festival of the Arts pins on Friday. I'm still missing a few payments from that. I'd like to place an order for (2) Made in Wakanda Black Panther pins.
If the Jan. 14th shipping date is still available, I'd like that.

Here a pic of the Donut pin opened! Please notice that it has a large Free D element to it!

Also, the price is 16.99, which means, as I feared, probably all normal le pins will go up to 16.99 instead of 15.99.

So if you only requested the Donut, I'll probably be sending a follow up message soon. If you requested other pins, please expect everything to go up $1. I'll keep you posted as best I can.

My pickups happen tomorrow, so stay tuned. :)

We should be updated to this point. Those of you who have requested the Black Panther pin, I'm holding off on invoicing for those until I have them in hand. Who knows if Disney is going to pull them because of the feedback.

Also, again, please expect a price hike in these pins. The Donuts moved up to 16.99, and considering all of the Peter Pan Anniversary single pins are 16.99 as well, it's a good chance that's going to be the new standard price.
 
We've got some more festival pins! :D no word on edition sizes or prices, but I'll know first thing in the morning. :)

I'm assuming the logo on is limited release and the four pin set is le 500 as most of the festival sets are.

I don't think they need to pull it. According to this article, the entire controversy was due to lighting issues. Apparently Disney Pins Blog updated their photo:

Hmm, I saw this in person and didn't even see a picture of it before hand so didn't have any biases one way or the other. And, to me, it's not just "lighting" issues. I'm sure that is a contributing factor to the egregious differential in color in the pictures but it isn't so clear cut and I didn't base my reaction to it from the pictures. I then showed my wife the pin without saying a word about why I was showing it to her, and she said, "OMG, that's horrible". So to each their own. But in any event, given the controversy, I wish I picked it up when I saw it.

Alrighty, so here's some info and pictures.

The portraits are le 2500 and 16.99 each as we expected.
Logo is LR at 14.99
The small pin (part of what we thought was a four pin set) is the reward for the scavenger hunt, LR at 8.99. I'm assuming they'll do a different pin each week of the festival.

Pins are not massive, but not small really. Just a standard size. Except the map pin. It's small. XD
