What is the highest RETAIL cost for a single pin that you have seen?
Could u plz post a pic of the pin.....seems an awful lot for 1 jumbo pin.....
I want it because it has scar in it! Not keen on price though.
After seeing the merch catalog, I have to agree with you 100%. I've been to many merchandise events in the past (mostly Haunted Mansion and Mansion Holiday for years in a row) and none of the jumbos were in this price range. I don't see these as being any bigger or better than before, either so I'm a little put off by it. Some of the LE sizes are quite small so Disney may feel at ease raising the prices but I agree, trading for these seems nearly impossible at this point. I'm only seeing the $100+ pins as investments for collectors who intend to keep them for themselves - trades will mostly be broken up $84.95 sets and mystery boxes. Same with the Tiki Room event; there's just too huge of a percentage of high-priced sets to make trading very viable.
I know there were some "swarovski" crystal pins that were over $1,000.

This was the highest retail I can ever remember for a single pin. It was very nice. I saw it one time and was disappointed I didn't end up putting it on my rsp.

I think this is the second highest retail on a pin released by the regular pin team. The highest I know of is the
Pin 61184: WDW - Expedition: PINS - Dream Jeweled Mickey Mouse
Retail price was $1295.
come to think of it, none of those 13 event pins have Frollo, they skipped him totally. That sucks.
If I held out, do you think that I could get it for less than $150? Or would it just remain consistently at the cost price?I think $150 isnt too bad if its a super jumbo, and also its a really awesome looking pin!
However I think if you look into the future sales, if you put it up for sale you will not get back $150, or it will never rise above that.
