With registration opening tomorrow for the upcoming Sci-Fi Academy event at Disneyland® Resort, we figured some first looks were in order. We literally received these items this afternoon. We hope you like them as much as we do. The Penny Arcade box is a first sample so some tweaks will be done. The Tron Figurine is a first prototype sample.

If I ever get to go to one of these, you will be the first to know and I would gladly get you what you wanted. I live 6 hours away, so it's not close enough for me.

I do wish they would do mOre. I think what it is, is that they do one thing here but no where else and then do something else somewhere else but not here.

It really doesn't seem fair that they do not release some at each park. :-(

I can't believe registration is today and still no merchandise booklet! Remember in years past when we had the merchandise listings to review for days or weeks before the event.

I know the design team is a bit backed up right now. My parents are acquaintances of Alex Maher. When they ran into him last week, he said that the Blog people were wanting merchandise pictures for the Epcot event. And he said, they haven't even really started. He got pulled off of that to work on a different event. And it was already only another guy and him, working on it. So I would expect all event pin info to be later than usual.
