OK so just another question. Can I revise my bid?
Just be sure to specify if you're starting over or adding to it. :)
You certainly can. :) you can either scrap the bid and start over, or you can add to it. :3

I've never done this before. So would it be wrong of me to bid only one pin? What do you think?

Just an fyi, for those that are new to bidding in auctions, there are some rules and etiquette guidelines posted in the Sticky Threads at the top of the DPF Auction House. I found those to be really helpful when I was a new member. My personal feeling is that, once someone else has bid, you should feel free to bid whatever you want, as the auctioneer then has a choice, so it can't hurt. But I hesitate to start the bidding unless I have something of at least reasonably comparable value, as I never want the auctioneer to get "stuck" with my bid if it ends up being the only bid (which does happen sometimes).

And I think most auctioneers would also agree that it is the quality of your bid, not the quantity, that matters most.

I hope this helps. And now I am going to check my traders and see if I have anything to bid!

That little piece of advice should go into the guides in this forum... I wish I had known it 6 hours ago...

Remember too, most auctions last for about a week (double check the date), so there's plenty of time for other people to pop up ;P

@tokaj what happened?

Well... I've been debating on bidding on an auction for a bit, and didn't because I would have been the first bidder, but I did anyway, but kind of outside of the auctioner's top wants. I figured if I did an opening bid, someone else might be more likely to bid. Anyway - I feel bad for it since I didn't think of them being stuck with the bid. So, if no one else bids, I'll make sure to rebid with something better.

Oooooooh this set is too cute to pass up! I'll start with:

4ae76da88997582819fd455c2847b5a7.jpg

Pin 113251 WDW - Adventureland Aladdin Surprise Pin

This one is an AP though, (so I should probably make a different Pinpics listing)

I have a feeling that this will be a wonderful auction!

Alright I will ADD to my bid:

pin96341

Pin 96341 Disney Star Wars Characters - Heroes vs Villains - Emperor Palpatine Stitch ONLY

and

pin96340

Pin 96340 Disney Star Wars Characters - Heroes vs Villains - Darth Maul Donald ONLY

Great addition, Purplemandms! I ~love~ the Master/Apprentice pair. :3 You are now only just a bit behind Timeerkat, as I'm addmittedly a little Herc-crazy at the moment, hahah!

1 - Timeerkat - GMD anniversary, Meg Lanyard pin, Meg ProPin
2 - Purplemandms - Aladdin AdventureLand AP, SW Stitch Master, SW Donald Apprentice

Ugh. This decision is so so difficult! But I think I'm going to have to keep with Timeerkat as the leader. >.< and while I'm torn because the two Meg pins are very similar (and I think I like the lanyard one most out of the two), it's a little more of. My collection focus for now. </3

These auctions always make me anxious. Hahah! Thank you so much for adding to your bid, Purple, but I believe the leader board remains the same <3

It's all good! Figure it was worth a shot.
Good luck with the rest of the auction!

Great bid, Tina! :) I do believe that puts you in the lead!

1) tinawap - Hero Hercules (LE 500)
2) timeerkat - GMD anniversary (LE 3500), Meg Lanyard, Meg ProPin
3) purplemandms - Aladdin Adventureland AP (LE 1000), SW Stitch Master, SW Donald Apprentice, SW Goofy Sith

Timeerkat, I'll add that since both the Lanyard and the ProPin are so similar, I'd probably end up only keeping one in the permanent collection--most likely the Lanyard one. :)

Thanks so much, everyone! We're about 5 1/2 hours out! :3
