Well I'm bored and pin-obsessed so time to try running my first pin game! All you have to do to be entered is answer the questions below! If you feel any of the questions are too personal, feel free to skip them but of course I don't want anybody to just answer a question and win so you have to answer at least half the questions to be entered. There will be two winners and the first place will get to choose which prize they want. Prize one is the #131449 Loungefly Fantasia set and prize two is #135831 Juju Fairy Tails pin and an Animal Kingdom Lodge OE I can't find on Pinpics. Anyways, here are the questions!

Where are you from?

What's your occupation?

What is your first memory of the parks?

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney?

What was/is your favorite subject in school?

Who is your favorite celebrity?

What did you do this week?

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them!

This game will close at 10 PM EST on Monday!

Oooh! Fun game!!!

Where are you from?
I’ve lived in New York my whole life but am about to move to Austin! So excited for this crazy life change!

What's your occupation?
Haha. I never know how to answer this question. I am an actuary by profession and I work at a software company developing actuarial software. Actuaries basically do modeling and risk analysis. They’re the people who figure out how much to charge each person for car insurance so that when a fraction of their customers get into an accident there is enough money to pay the bills. I don’t work in car insurance, though. I work in pension plans (so figuring how much money a company puts into their pension plan so they have cash to pay benefits when people retire). Is anyone still reading? Lol!

What is your first memory of the parks?
I actually don’t remember if it was DLR or WDW because I went to one at age 6-ish and one at age 8-ish, but anyway... I loved, I mean LOVED it’s a small world. So much that it was all I wanted to do. So I made my mother ride it with me a billion times over and over again. That poor woman!!!

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney?
Favorite merch?!?! PINS of course!

What was/is your favorite subject in school?
Haha. Majored in Math. (See nerd job above.)

Who is your favorite celebrity?
I am a HUGE fan of the band Barenaked Ladies. I’ve seen them over 100 times and met them so often that they know my name!

What did you do this week?
I signed a lease for an apartment in Austin!!!

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them!
Haha there are so many awesome dpf’ers. I’ll tag @timeerkat. She’s super generous and always gives up her time to do pickups for the community and she is a super sweet person!

You just joined my Texas pin group on FB!

Congrats on the move! Thanks for the job explanation lol and that's really cool that the Barenaked Ladies know your name!

How kind of you—and how fun, too!

Where are you from?

— I’m from Illinois, in the middle of nowhere (nowhere but cornfields, that is), but a train ride away from Chicago where I frequently go to see touring musicals—and the Disney Store, of course!

What's your occupation?

— I’m a nanny for three dear boys. One day, I hope we'll all go to Disney together! They love Mickey, Donald, Goofy... and Mary Poppins! ❤️

What is your first memory of the parks?

— My family drove from Illinois to Florida and I remember I slept almost the whole time. When I woke up, I thought that big moving advertisement for the Tower of Terror on the way to the park was the real thing. I still think of that every time I go!

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney?

— My favorite snack is the Lost Princess cone! The flowers are fun to eat. My favorite merch is anything Haunted Mansion, especially Constance.

What was/is your favorite subject in school?

— Art for sure! I had the kindest teachers who always encouraged me to let my creativity flow. As a kid with ADD, almost every other subject was very difficult for me. I felt at home in art classes.

Who is your favorite celebrity?

— Oh gosh. Maybe Lin Manuel Miranda? He’s such a warm, wonderful soul.

What did you do this week?

— Worked and slept! Fall weather is upon us here and my allergies have been driving me bonkers.

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell themsomething you like about them!

@imp sold me some of my favorite pins in my Constance collection. I only dreamed of being able to afford them before, but Imp made those dreams a reality! Thank you!

I've drawn in a new member, success! That's really cool! I have ADD too but luckily a type that doesn't interfere with my academics much. My mom's from the middle of nowhere Illinois too lol, she always connects with the most random people because she knows all the small Illinois towns they're from. Congrats on the new pins!

Where are you from?

Silicon Valley

What's your occupation?

Real Estate Development; I'm a policy consultant but am branching out to do development as a whole and not just the governmental affairs side.

What is your first memory of the parks?

Riding it's a small world six or seven times in a row in the rain as a small child before my parents had enough. I was wearing the yellow mickey poncho and my shoes were full of water by the end of it but little me had the best time.

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney?

Mickey Pretzels

What was/is your favorite subject in school?

I always loved biology and wanted to be a marine biologist.

Who is your favorite celebrity?

I absolutely love Lili Reinhart. She is talented, caring, and so wonderfully open about the realities of life. I have a huge girl crush on her. Megan Rapinoe is also super high on my list but that's just a straight crush.

What did you do this week?

Work a ton of hours and help with some last minute wedding planning. I did get to go to barre every day in the morning which was great.

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them!

@Shelterkat It always makes me so happy to see you wishing everyone a happy birthday! You have the kindest spirit and I adore you.

I’m answering these questions just for fun because I love this type of thing - but please don’t consider me for the pins! I’m currently in cleaning-out mode. :) But I love your generosity!

I am from Southern California - lived here all my life! Born in Harbor City, raised in San Pedro. As a teenager I moved to Los Alamitos, and then to Laguna Woods to be closer to my grandmother.

I am unemployed (on disability for bipolar disorder) but do odd jobs for neighbors (I live in a retirement community, even though I’m only 34) and often get asked to house and pet sit. I also do occasional volunteer work.

In my first memory of the parks, I was probably about four or five years old. I had just gotten a plush toy of my very favorite Disney character - Figaro the cat. We rode on It’s a Small World and my Figaro toy was innocently dancing along the side of the boat when (gasp!) he fell in the water. I freaked out - tears, screaming, the whole nine yards. I remember my brother trying to save my toy - going so far as trying to jump from the boat onto the area with the animatronics - but Figaro floated just out of reach. It was traumatic. When a kindly cast member found out what happened, the ride paused and someone came out with a pool net and rescued my kitty from a sure death by drowning. I remember being given him back wrapped in a little towel, so I could dry him off and he wouldn’t catch cold. I didn’t ride that ride again for many years. I didn’t trust those dolls after that incident. (Since then, it’s become one of my favorite rides again!)

My favorite snack at Disney is a Dole Whip Float, followed by a Mickey shaped rice krispy treat, which I usually wrap up and take home to enjoy later. My favorite merchandise tends to be pins (big surprise there), artwork from Wonderground Gallery, and mouse ears.

My favorite subject in school was always English.

A few celebrities I admire are Bindi Irwin and Evanna Lynch. I have a crush on Matthew Gray Gubler.

This week my mom and I went to Salem, Massachusetts - it was INCREDIBLE!

Wow so you've been a Figaro fan a long time! Glad you had a fun time in Salem!

Oh my gosh. I forgot to tag a member -

@timeerkat and @MerlinEmrys I love you both for your generosity and enthusiastic willingness to help out other members with pickups at cost whenever you can.

@prettyomi I love your warmth, friendliness and ability to put everyone around you at ease, even nervous Nellies like me. It’s truly a gift.

@teddy_ruxpin I love your sweetness and innocence and the fact that you always go out of your way to keep in touch and remember special occasions.

@Ksnuggles I love your work on organizing things like Secret Santa and the RAK attack. They are two of my favorite things about the forum and I can’t even imagine the stress of putting them all together!

Okay, I’m going to stop before the list gets any longer since you just asked for one person. But I love so many things about so many people on this forum, it’s easy to go overboard!

I love these. You don't have to put me down for the pins.

Where are you from? I'm born, raised, and still live in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically in the East Bay, in the Tri Valley area.

What's your occupation? I'm a benefits manager, meaning I administer the employee benefits at my company for the U.S. and Canada, like medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.

What is your first memory of the parks? I remember the T-Rex and Stegosaurus scene from Primeval World as my earliest memory and wanting to just do the Railroad over and over. I want to do the Railroad over and over now just to sit down. jk

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney? I have probably spent the most on popcorn for snacks. I love popcorn buckets, but I have too many, and they take up too much space. And merch....pins pins pins. 20% off is the best.

What was/is your favorite subject in school? Math

Who is your favorite celebrity? Colton Haynes - so happy to have met him at a convention. I was starstruck and my friends couldn't stop laughing because I kind of froze. He was so nice though, and heck yeah I bought a picture with him. It's on my desk!

What did you do this week? I had a new hire that started this week. I wasn't prepared. The rest of my team are from internal transfers so I wasn't sure how to teach him the basics of the company. I just kept talking and talking, jumping all over the place, inundating him with information overload.

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them! @Ksnuggles , Kristina, you are nice and sweet, and you surprised me with a villains lanyard zap at the last docfish2u party.

I see how many views this thread has and how many answers I've got lol. I encourage all you lurkers, emerge from your silence!

Where are you from? Fort Worth, TX

What's your occupation? housewife, occasional caregiver, and family pin-trading enabler

What is your first memory of the parks? Taking my little sister to Disneyland... her excitement at Mickey-shaped room service chicken nuggets, the way she clung to me as Pirates of the Caribbean “dropped”, and the overwhelming joy that made her ask “do we have to leave?”!

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney? Snack- LeFou’s Brew for beverage, and the Master’s Cupcake at Be Our Guest... or the Strawberry Cream Cheese cupcake... I can never choose so I always get both! Merch-pins, of course (and Pandora charms, and anything Haunted Mansion)

What was/is your favorite subject in school? Music... of any kind... choir, band, theory...

Who is your favorite celebrity? If you consider Jesus a “celebrity”... otherwise Paige O’Hara living, and Walt Disney deceased

What did you do this week? Looked at potential houses, and purchased pins vicariously for my mil... since I’m in pin-detention (not as severe as pin jail, but very limited)

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them! I just have to tag 3! Does that disqualify me?!?! @krand1276 for her welcoming spirit! She was my first ever DPF trade and my first ever zap; I had never even heard the term! @Ajk for his efforts helping me track down the Oliver Guitar pin at the August event and making me happy-tear by zapping it to me! And my favorite wizard, @MerlinEmrys for the joy he spread for so long with his at cost pickups... which he topped with a longtime wanted pin-cherry that my husband and I absolutely love!

What a wonderful game! Like Sora, I am in the process of cleaning out my pins so I just want to submit my responses for fun, not for the pins.

What's your occupation? - Was a special ed teacher now corporate training - been starting to think about a 3rd career change...

What is your first memory of the parks? - I believe I was in the 4th grade the first time I went to WDW - I remember the tickets for the rides (E tickets for the best rides), loving the submarine ride (20,000 leagues under the sea) and being initially afraid to go on Haunted Mansion but after the first ride going on it again and again (I still need to ride it several times every trip)

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney? - snack: Dole Whip - Merch: pins, always get one Pandora charm per visit, Christmas ornaments (it's my dream when I retire to move to Florida and work at the Christmas store in the Magic Kingdom - every day would be Christmas and Disney!!!)

Where are you from? Originally from Brooklyn and have lived in the NoVa area for the last 8 years.

What's your occupation? I'm a tax attorney for a large, multinational financial institution

What is your first memory of the parks? Growing up, we didn't really watch a lot of Disney movies, I was more of a Nickelodeon kid. I remember walking out of NBC in theaters with my dad chasing after me. I hated it then but love it now. Go figure! The first Disney movie I actually loved was Lion King. My dad had a fear of flying so we took Amtrak everywhere or rented a car. The first (and only time) we took the Amtrak down to Orlando was when I was 13 and about a year before Mr. Toad's Wild Ride closed for good. Although I remember absolutely adoring that ride, I remember loving Splash Mountain even more, especially since I grew up reading the books. I also remember losing my favorite hat, my 1996 Yankees World Series Champions hat, on Space Mountain. I still talk about that to this day and I have never worn a hat on a ride ever since. I also remember loving Alien Encounter. I wish that would come back!

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney? For favorite snack, does the Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans count? I also love Disneyland's (not Disney World's) churros and corn dogs. Also, we always make sure to get some popcorn on every trip, although Tokyo Disney kind of ruined popcorn for me at any other park.

What was/is your favorite subject in school? Math of course! I was a Statistics major in college and then started a PhD in Statistics before switching to tax law.

Who is your favorite celebrity? Bill Murray.

What did you do this week? Let's see, I continued my battle with the IRS on blah, blah, blah, boring, boring, long-drawn out tax issue, boring, boring. We're seeing the original Beauty and the Beast in theaters today because...of course, Gaston on the big screen. I just made a trade for one of my all-time Gaston grails, I can't wait for it to get here!!! Exercised a whole bunch, I'm down 17 pounds in a month! Oh and paid off our Star Wars Day at Sea cruise in January!

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them! @FoolishMortal71 - always enjoy reading his posts and we became great friends living in the same area. Also love his Ursula collection!

Great questions! No need to enter me in the game. I'm just enjoying learning more about DPFers.

Where are you from? I grew up near Chicago. I've also lived in Missouri, Colorado, Maryland, and now Wisconsin.

What's your occupation? I'm a freelance copy editor. Nowadays I mostly work on nonfiction books for a small academic press where I used to have a full-time position, but back in the day I did work for places like the Discovery Channel and NASA.

What is your first memory of the parks? My first trip to WDW happened when I was eleven. I had been desperate to go for years, and when we finally walked under the railroad bridge and onto Main Street, as the late-afternoon rain tapered off and the sun broke through the clouds, I just knew it was going to be everything I'd dreamed of and more.

Favorite snack or merch to buy at Disney? Mickey pretzels and pin mystery packs/boxes. I cannot resist either when I see them!

What was/is your favorite subject in school? English. I'm a word nerd, born and raised.

Who is your favorite celebrity? David Tennant and Emma Thompson

What did you do this week? Dropped kids off, picked kids up, too little work, too much Sims 4

And finally, tag one DPFer and tell them something you like about them! @bcol and @Addicted to Alice Pins. These two both have beautiful collections, and they go out of their way to help other people have beautiful collections too.
