So, I have been putting all my pins on pinpics as I have time. I have most of my collection listed, but still have quite a few to go.
This morning, I had some time so I started adding some and I have hit a milestone. 4000 different Disney pins.
I know lots of you have even more than that, so lets hear it, who has the most pins listed on pinpics?
I am only counting collections, so multiples just get counted once.

I have about 75ish, thought not all are listed on Pinpics. I don't think I could cope with that many pins, I'd be constantly reorganising them.

I don't list my collection. I only list marquees to help me remember what I have.

But I can assure you I do not have anywhere close to 4,000! More of a quality VS. quantity pin collector.

that's a lot of pins Al, congrats! I think my son has closer to 500 pins in his collection, I have about 100 in mine.

I JUST surpassed 100 recently and I am quite proud haha xD

I have to ask since there are people here with I know over 8000 and I believe there are some with 5 digits (greater than 10000). Can I ask, anyone with more than 500, where do you honestly keep them all? Do you even get to look at every single pin often or do you have them somewhere neatly arranged on your wall? Most people I know who have over 1000 have pin book upon pin book filled with pins and they are so hard to keep track of O_o

I posted my pics awhile ago, as I've been trying to get my pins out of bags/binders and into frames. Most of my DL pins are now framed or on corkboards, leaving my bags to hold the Hidden Mickey pins (where the hunt is the more important part for me) and some more recent stuff that I don't have a board for. I still have to get some of the boards on the wall, but I'm getting there. See this thread:

http://disneypinforum.com/showthread.php?11631-My-Disneyland-pin-wall

WDW stuff is mostly still in binders but I have the AK pins on corkboards in our bedroom, most of the Hotel pins are in frames, as well as several sets. This thread was mostly about other Disney, but you can see my 4th of July pins in the Living room, pins in the upper hallway and stairwell and the closet where all the binders are.

I have other frames elsewhere with Alice pins, Dumbo pins and some other stuff. Also, I change the 4th of the July pins on the season. So during Christmas and Halloween I have those pins out instead. 4th of July is the default, because that's our anniversary so it's my primary holiday collection.

For the volume, corkboards are the best solution for being able to see stuff. But I prefer things in frames, because I'd love to have pin people come visit if we could ever get a group together in Colorado, but I'd be worried about pins walking off. And matted frames with backgrounds, just looks nicer. I don't like either bags or binders because pins have a tendency to get broken easily. I prefer binders for ease of moving pins around, although with Coroplast in the bags, it's better, but pieces get hooked in the mesh, not good.

1136 but really trying to narrow even that down some. I know I don't have everything listed like the pins in books and such but that is what I am showing in there as of right now. I don't know how you guys with more than that even mange them...lol I feel lost when there are over 1000 pins.

I wish I could say that quote didn't bother me but it does.. I have about 4,900 pins (been collecting since 2000) but I wouldn't say I have 'junk' or 'lesser quality' ones- While I stay out of the 'main stream' with my collections (no villians, Jessica, Mansion, Princess etc) I would say that for what I do collect I have impressive to fairly impressive collections-
