Following my recent problems, I was interested to see that 4 negative feedback have been left on iTrader this month.

Is there a simple way to view the members names who have been left with the negative feedback?

Thanks for your help,

Martin :)

If you really want to know, you can go through all the members and see who it was. Time consuming, but I haven't figured out any other way.

Yeah, they did have the "Hall of Shame" but nothing has appeared there after the first negative was posted and then removed from the system.

If you know who left the feedback, you can look at their feedback and then click the "feedback left for others." But yes, I was curious to know about the neutral and negative feedback that has been posted lately.

I'll admit that I'm curious too BUT...when it really comes down to it, nobody really needs to know unless they are considering dealing with the person in question. And if that is the case, you will see the feedback at that time.

Its nice to see that negative feedback is being left (of course, I wish it didn't have to come down to leaving others negative feedback), and I'm hoping that it is being left to those who deserve it. I'm happy to see it (as compared to the dreaded blacklist).

I think it's sad that negative feedback might even be merited, first of all. That being said, I'd much rather that negative feedback be left than have traders blacklisted through 'naughty trader lists.' With all of the PM'ing of 'naughty traders' names going back and forth, it made me feel like I was back in 4th grade again. This is what the feedback system is for, after all, and it should be used appropriately.

That being said, I just hope that ALL feedback that is given (positive, neutral, and negative) is given because it truly is DESERVED, not for other reasons. I would hate for someone to give positive feedback when negative is deserved because he/she is afraid that the other party will retalliate and give negative feedback just because he/she deservedly got negative feedback instead of giving the positive feedback he/she should have given. At the same time, I would hate for someone to abuse the system and give negative feedback for no reason at all, just because he/she can.

Well said.

And every time you post a negative feedback, there doesn't need to be a thread about it. The negative feedback will be the redflag people see and they should decide from there how to proceed. :)

Hmmm...

I really understand all your points.

I like the point about there not being a need to see it unless you are trading with them directly and then all will be revealed.

The reason why I posted the thread is because I had no clue what to do. I am currently refraining from leaving feedback as I believe this person can redeem themselves and the last thing I want to do is prevent somebody from having fun from this hobby because people don't want to trade with them.

Thanks for all your feedback and comments on my two recent threads. Has really put thing in to perspective and allowed me to make the best decision to suit my feelings.

Martin :)
