Mahrii, if you think you have figured out a pin and want to attempt to reveal one along the way there are no rules that prevent you from doing so. It probably can't hurt given the massive amount of confusion that seems to be present. Like I said, I'm getting the impression a bunch of you were not big fans of LOST. Perhaps my problem is that I watched every episode and my thought process has been greatly affected.

Oh! See, you just said "big fans of the TV show", but you never mentioned LOST, so I didn't know which show you meant. (Or if you did I missed it.) I loved that show! Even if the final season was kind of... o.O

Half the fun was yelling at the screen though. A few of us would watch it together so we could go WHAT??!!? together. Also a blogger named Cleolinda used to do the most HILARIOUS recaps of the episodes. (She also does a blog called Movies in 15 Minutes.)

ANYWAY. I'm looking forward to seeing if other people reveal what they think they are. I have sorta kinda an idea of what I think they are...

Also we've had a couple bids now, right? Can there be a leaderboard?

Well ... if we are going to see a leaderboard soon, I at least want to see where I fall on it. I'll be bidding blind on #3 ... WTH it sounds like a good number.

Every train needs a caboose and since I see you already have the engine for this one, I bid ...

pin15644

Pin 15644: WDW - Railroad Surprise Pin Series (Huey, Dewey and Louie) still on it's card all sealed up tight in its original plastic

and a headstart on another one ...

pin90850

Pin 90850: WDW - Walt Disney World ® Resort Train Mystery Collection - Minnie Only

Ok, I am persuaded to believe that Pin #2, the Mystery pin chosen is this pin:
Pin 56675: DisneyShopping.com - Wedding Princess - Set of 6 Spinner Pins (Sleeping Beauty Only)
If I am right would you reveal the #3 pin, which I have a pretty good idea of its identity.

I watched the first 3 seasons of Lost and then .... hmmmm well kind of LOST interest.

I think you're right about #2, and I think #3 is the Cinderella from that same set.

Alrighty, I'm bidding
Pin 91110: DSF - El Capitan Theatre Seat - Sulley
And
Pin 91500: DLP - Phantom Manor 2012 - Pin Trading Event - Open Coffin with Skeleton / Ghost

:)

Vixy, when I made the first reference to LOST it was because everybody kept on posting, "I'm lost." I was wondering if anybody was every going to pick up on it.
Wyllieam, you didn't designate the pin you were bidding on, but since you did get to choose the mystery pin I presume that is the one you are going with.

Leaderboard update. This leaderboard is a bit different. I assign a trade factor to each of your bids in releationship to the pin you are bidding on. This trade factor is a combination of how much I want the pins you are offering, trades ratios, demand level, and the like. The closer your score is to 100, the closer you are to being chosen as the winner. If there is a 5-10 point gap from the point leader means that while I am leaning towards a particular bid your bid is being seriously considered. REMEMBER: If you choose a differnt pin your score will be reevaluated and my rise or fall accordingly.

Woohoo ... On the fringes :hsd:

Guess I'm going to need slide on over to a known pin (#2) while I try to figure this mess out.

HandA--moving over to pin #2 will leave your score the same
Vixy--you score will move to 50 (remember, you score is based upon your bid and the pin you are bidding on)

Today's clue: Pin #4.
In auction #4 Alice Has a Book Nobody wants to read. Alice is not one of 10 original mystery pin, but the "storybook" is.
In auction #5 There are two tinkerbell pins. Of the 10 original pins, three have Tinkerbell.
In auction #6 There are two characters, the Evil Queen and Maleficent. The Evil Queen pin is from DSF. Neither character is featured in the original 10.
Of the seven auctions, none include/exclude the Haunted Mansion pins.
Yesterdays clue said pin #4 "can be revealed".

Disneypirate

*sigh* Sadly, pretty much everything I have that you would've wanted, I've either already traded you or someone else has bid it. And they don't have blind boxes on Disneystore.com anymore. :(

I'm still bidding on #4, and I'll add:
Pin 79458: Walt's Classic Collection - Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter, Alice, March Hare ONLY)

HandA--moving over to pin #2 will leave your score the same
Vixy--you score will move to 50 (remember, you score is based upon your bid and the pin you are bidding on)

I thought you said that the other four pins had nothing to do with the first 10 choices......

Andres, are you referring to this dialog:
Combatdre, "I'm a bit confused... So the mystery pin chosen is #2 which by the long STory I know what it possibly is... but the other four, are they from the same lot picked or totally random ones?"
Disneypirate,"Andres, the four other pins are different from the original 10 pins, so there are really 14 mystery pins."

Only 1 of the original 10 can be pin #2, but the original 10 can be a clue for the other mystery pins. Sheesh, haven't you figured out that I am part of Jack's crew yet and have mastered the art of double talk.

Go back to hint #1:
1. Tinkerbell (auction 5 is Tinkerbell)
2. Tinkerbell (auction 5 is Tinkerbell, but there are three so this is DEVIOUS. Look to auction #4, Storybook)
3. Stitch (auction 7 says "Has anybody ever figured out how many characters Stitch has imitated"
4. Haunted Mansion
5. Haunted Mansion
6. Pirate (auciton 7)
7. Stitch (auction 7, again, Has anybody ever figured out how many characters Stitch has imitated)
8. Ariel (DEVIOUS. No clues point to Ariel, but auction 5 has two Tinkbell pins so it could be pin 2 or 8)
9. Jack (Jack and Sally, Auction 7)
10. Sleeping Beauty (Sleeping Beauty Castle, Auction 3)
The above represent pin #2. Why, even though I revealed the mystery pins in the first auction it had not been selected by wyllieam before I started auction #2 identifying pin #1, the Lion King PODM.
11. Pin #1 Revealed, the Lion King PODM
12. Mystery Pin #3 (#3 will be revealed when one that is concealed (pin #2) is revealed)
13. Mystery Pin #4 (#4 can be revealed)
14. Mystery pin #5 (#5 may remain concealed)

In my auction I haven't said anything about Haunted Mansion while I have referenced the Lion King, Cinderella, the Evil Queen, and Maleficent. What pin number has everybody been wondering about because of "missing" information?

or better yet ... are ALL of those clues supposed to pertain to Pin #4??

The clues are "storybook" with tinkerbell on it. It also could be revealed... Since it's hinged then opening it reveals the history of Disneyland.... This deduction would make sense if it had not been mentioned that the four additional mystery pins had nothing to do with the rest.... Now I'm just confused :eek2:
