Sorry for everyone who missed out

Now that these are out, I think I'm probably going to pare down my collection a bit and sell off Anna/Elsa from the release earlier this year since I don't like the look of those as much.

Congratulations to everyone who was able to buy their dolls. I was cheering for you. This was my first LE doll release and I have this board to thank. For the helpful advice and general love of Disney.

Anna/Kristoff could go into my bag. But I’m not buying it.

We stopped at the local DS yesterday around 11 and got the last of each doll. We were kinda surprised they were still there! Maybe people went for tsum tsum?

That is super sweet! I'm so glad you had a fun release morning!!

I personally really enjoy being able to talk with other collectors too, and it's so wonderful that people in the know are kind enough to share links and let newer collectors into the fold. I have had so much fun talking with other users on this forum and collecting this past year! A break next year (if there's a break that is) will be nice, but I'll be excited to talk about what dolls might be coming up in the future.

Congratulations to everyone who got the dolls they wanted these past two days, and I'm really sorry to those who did not.

My mom overheard a cast member telling someone that Alice though the looking glass will most likely have a doll. I wish they would more do wedding dolls like the Jasmin and Aladdin one but make them a little less expensive and a higher number.

Does anyone think the dolls prices will drop at all? The lowest are just under £300 for Elsa and £250 for Anna approximately. I really want them but think £300+ is too steep.

Keep an eye on eBay. Set up an interest for it in case someone lists it for "cheap". If it costs shy of £300 to import both dolls from the US site, it may be worth paying the same if (big if) someone on eBay lists for a similar price. Obviously the seller makes money rather than Disney, but depending on your perspective it could be the lesser/bigger evil...

Glad I got them online though. Just prefer receiving them in their shipper. I don't display them, so without the shipping box I have to be more careful storing them. Would be nice if the stores could save a few in case someone wants them.

What does ebay take for a cut in the £? I know in the US if you use buy it now to sell they take 20%, and that doesn't include paypal fees. For instance if some one sells a doll for $275 including shipping using buy it now ebay takes it's share so then the price is $220 but then the seller has to pay shipping which is about $20..then PP takes it's share, when all is said and done the seller makes around $70 or so, I don't think that is too unreasonable since it was hard to get these... finding reasonable sellers is the lesser of the two evils, IMO anyway.

The wait until the shipping notice is always the worst part. Except for the post shipping 'please don't let the carrier crush my dolls' wait. XD

I figured they would make one for the new Alice movie. I'm not really all that excited for the film itself, but it looks like Alice is going to have some great outfits, so I am really excited to see how her doll turns out. Admittedly though, I mainly want an Alice doll just so I can customize her to look like Edith from Crimson Peak where they are both played by the same actress.

So how many of us are relieved that the doll season/year is finally over for 2015?lol This has been a crazy, expensive year with releases after releases. I'm surprised we didn't get a Harrods exclusive set this year :eek2: - not that there's anything wrong with that, I think we've had enough with Platinum Cindy and Jasmine when it comes to astronomical price tags.

I'll be finally relieved when I get all dolls shipped from DS. And it is sad I can only order them online...

At my store, there were 14-17 people (I forgot) for the LE dolls and about 30-35 for tsums. My DS did two separate lines and had them labeled. We had 14 Elsas, 14 Annas, 14 Anna/Kristoff. No idea how many tsums there were, but I saw a CM carrying the biggest tsum (Mickey) I have ever seen. It looked extra large.

There were quite a few people in line yesterday morning for just Tsums, yeah. Not sure where the dolls ran out, too far up in line.

I haven't gotten the email from DisneyStore yet, but my UPS My Choice has been updated and lists two new tracking numbers coming from Disney. Looks like Anna and Elsa have been processed, and have a Friday ETA. :wiggle:

Thanks for mentioning this! I checked into my order and it still says Active, but I wanted to know, so I signed up for My Choice (was going to eventually) and mine says the same thing. I have an order coming from the DS in TN ready for UPS. WooHoo!!!

Relieved, yes! My wallet can now rest in relative peace...until Christmas that is.

That would be a good guess. I know some collectors who were in my line got both tsum tsum's and the dolls, but many who showed up said they were just there for the tsum tsum's and that they'd leave the dolls to us collectors.
