display your pins or keep them away??
Hey there! I would say to display the pins you are keeping in your collection, and keep your traders in a book.
I have a little of both but at this point I really only want to hang on to what I have displayed. If I did not love it enough to display it I don't need it. The only exception is some of our pins from our early Disney trips where we would trade a bunch with cm's and organize a book when we got back home. This was back when you got decent stuff in the parks...lol I have 3 boards in my hallway that I display all of my faves on. I also have one board in my bedroom and then any framed sets are on my walls as well.
Beyond that, if it is in a drawer or box or anything of that nature I am getting rid of them. I need the space for one and secondly I just really feel like I appreciate a smaller collection of just my absolute favorite pins so much more!
That being said, I have never been a fan of having a collection of anything that I can't SEE without dragging it out.
Here is what my main collection looks like. These are my 3 "don't ever want to give these up" boards. lol

I would say, for a trade book you can go 2 ways...
a binder with the basebal card sleeves.
a large trade book.
the smaller pin books are cool, but eventually you will end up needing a big one. you may as well just go big right now. lol
We have 22 seagrass boards hanging on various walls. In addition there is a closet with loaded plastic containers, boxed sets, framed sets and more. Then there's our 11 books, 12 cork boards, 2 plastic bins, 1 bookshelf and a hanging plastic shoe rack filled with traders. Oh yes, I forgot our cabinet filled with our PODMs and various completed mystery sets. Lastly there is my two books and a dresser drawer full of Jessica pins. I'm sure I have forgotten some, but you get the idea...WE ARE PINSANE!!!!
Yeah, I'd like to see that collection too!!Ok, I want to see some pics now! lol I love seeing big collections! It sounds awesome!
