Announcement DPF Now Supports ForumRunner!

Hey guys; with the recent update to the forum, we've enabled support for the ForumRunner App! (on iPhone and android)

What is ForumRunner, you may ask?

DPF/ForumRunner Quickstart Guide:


Once you've installed ForumRunner on your device, search for "DisneyPinForum" to find us! Then, click on the forum listing that comes up in the search.


You'll be presented with the forum categories. Click on the top right icon, then "Add to Favorites", to add DPF to your favorite forums. DPF will now show up in your home screen, so you can access DPF anytime!

I know it's something that many have wanted for a long time. The main thing we had an issue with is deciding which mobile forum software to use -- they're about on equal ground as far as features. It seems many prefer forumrunner, though I know a lot of forums also use tapatalk as well. with the latest release of the forum software, the developers officially support forumrunner, so that made the decision easier

the free version is nice, but the paid version also has some really nifty features for those willing to spend $2. Of course, it's not necessary!


next up is getting CHAT to work on mobile devices!

This is an awesome development, and I am so excited...my only question is, how do I respond to a thread on my iPhone? I can read all this on the phone but had to come back to my laptop to respond haha

I don't think ForumRunner supports customizations; it's mostly for browsing/posting/replying to threads in an iphone/android native environment. (easier to browse/read/post) -- the full site must be accessed via a browser to view most of our forum customizations.

I'll look into the members list, but i'm pretty sure forum customizations like our pinpics integration isn't supported.
