DSF EGGS , want a set?

Are you still charging $15-$25 fees PLUS the pin costs and shipping to pick up sets for people? If so, I think this should be stated in the threads you make offering to pick up pins from DSF for others. Also I believe your threads belong in the "sale" boards.

If I start selling the pins for double (which is not going to happen) like everyone else, I'll make sure to do that :D

Since you don't post in the sales forum, I guess commenting on your prices is not out of bounds. :)

I must have misunderstood when you sent me that PM saying you could do me the favor of picking up soda fountain pins for me since you were going anyway, and for the low fee of $25 over the cost of the pins, plus shipping and paypal fees.

You aren't "helping" anyone get a set. You are scalping. Own it, and put it in the sales forum where it belongs.

Scalping is helping. Help her help you. Potato, potato.

Going anyway? The only times I go to DSF is to pick up pins for people. I guess it's a lot cheaper for you to fly from Missouri to get them.

I get it. You need to defend your business. If you have to taunt me in order to do it, go ahead. My character isn't in question.

It's okay if you're mad that people aren't buying pins from you for double the cost, because they would rather pay only a few bucks more to get the whole set. I apologize.

I wouldn't charge anything extra if I had access to a set and I knew someone who wanted it. That's the difference between you and me. It's not jealousy you detect in my posts, it repulsion at how you scalp just released pins and pretend it's benefitting anyone but you.

Good luck with your sales. :)

You're right, because 45 minutes each way is close enough! :hsd: I should start walking there to cut the cost of gas and parking. Thanks!

Also, last year for the Florida Project Pin Event in September at WDW, I got everyone who messaged me the pins they were wanting from the Event for the price they were selling for. I did not charge them extra. I plan to do this again for this year's Mickey's Circus Pin Event!!! So excited!!! :cheshire:

If I'm already going to get pins for myself at DSF, Disneyland, California Adventure, or WDI.... I'm more than willing to help people get the pins they want at cost. There are some people here who I have already done this for (more than once), it's the releases that I have no interest in going that differ.

I don't think ChickenLittle is trying to scalp anyone. Here's the bottom line if you don't want the pins being offered at the price some is asking don't buy them. But I think your correct PrincessDinah this thread should be in the sells forum. And I think ChickenLittle won't do that again.

what pins will they have at the circus event because with my trip im missing it by 4 days..... :( I'll probably get you to pick me up some ^-^

There is a difference helping people and helping others. I have "helped" in many ways.

1) Helping to buy pins since I am already there charging Retail + Tax + shipping (postage, LBE) + $5 for splitting gas.

2) Helping others in other parts of the world and in turn they help you get pins when they come out in that part of the world = at Retail + Tax + shipping (postage, LBE)

But the third, if its a popular release and I am getting there hours prior to release, I charge above the normal of 1) and 2) because these pins usually have a higher resale value/trade value and although I am already there - your not! That should demand a higher fee or else there is always eBay?

What I can not stand are the "new friends" that you do favors for and find out that they can live in the same state, or out of state or across an ocean just to use "US" so they can resell them at a profit!!!

You have to remember, we do not know you. Even at DLR Trade Night, there is lots of chats and conversations but until you meet a couple of times and make a few trades then find out you know the same traders you do favors for. Maybe after a couple of purchases, the prices drop a little to HELP OUT. Just because some of us live near a park or store around the world, we do not owe others. Plus, you can't imagine once you help others like Chicken Little does, she and others get 20 or more request asking "can you help me?"

I recently contacted a Japan "Helper". We don't know each other but I offered to over trade or buy above the selling retail. I can just imagine the PM's she gets daily once a pin comes out. I do hope she can help but overall its up to her to help.

So remember, when you ask for help for a pin, there are many others asking the same thing on different days so running down to get your pin comes at a cost.
