I wanted to run a free game for Christmas to bring some Christmas cheer! There are two prize winners!
I want you to tell me your favorite three toys you received for Christmas when you were little!

My favorite toys i received were

Ooooohhhhh . . . fun!

Let's see ---- to pick three.

When we were five, we received the Disney Mattel dolls for Christmas - Cinderella and Prince Charming, Aurora and Prince Philip, Belle and Prince/Beast, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Sadly, hey did not age well, so I no longer have them. But, they were sure fun! Only got rid of them a couple of years ago!

When we were nine, we got our first Playmobil sets. Playmobil is a passion - big as Disney. We still have a walk-in closet filled with it, all put away for When Sis and I get married and have kids (hopefully sooner than too much later!).

When we were three, Our GAunt and GUnalce gave us soft dolls of Violet Pickles and Ruby Buttons - dolls from the kids' storybook, "Ivy Cottage". Still have them and love them!
 
I'd have to go along with Elizabeth's Disney Dolls as one!

Another fabulous Christmas present was when we were eight, and I got my first violin. I've upgraded since, but it started a love for violin!

When we were nine, we got our first American Girl dolls - I got Addy, and Elizabeth got Kirsten. Here is a picture of them today. Kirsten still has her original braids!

An Easy Bake Oven for me and not for me but the year I did White Elephant gifts for everyone at a family reunion. I can still remember some of those gifts - a bright yellow golf bag for a golfer and an old vintage board game. We all still laugh remembering that Christmas.

I still have my Easy Bake Oven in the garage. We used it awhile ago, but now it is back in its box. :)
 
I honestly don’t remember which toys I received for the holidays, which were for my birthdays, and which were just because, but here are three of my faves!

Plushies were always my favorite sort of toy. Some of my best friends included a stuffed Figaro (go figure), a St. Bernard named Charlie, a dragon named Firecookie, and a bat named Batty.

I also loved My Little Pony, Treasure Trolls, Creepy Crawlies, and Cabbage Patch Dolls. (Am I aging myself? ). I was never a fan of Barbie.

This is hard to remember, but from what I recall, I always carried around this guy when I was little:

Along with many other "stuffies". I had to hide most of them from my brothers because the would play doctor and do surgeries on them, but I took Santa everywhere with me.

Ooooohhhhh . . . Lite Brites! We LOVEd those! Got those when we were 2, I think. Just got rid of them last year when we were downsizing in case we had to move.

Haha I love seeing everyone’s toys! Especially lite brite!!!!

My favorite were always building toys. With my first choice being construx. Sadly, they were no one else’s favorites because they didn’t last long on the market!!!

@Sunoo, I'm really sorry that you've been annoyed,I didn't mean to upset anyone . I only asked if you could please put three toys like i mentioned in my original post. Tonkatoys video games consoles i'll count because they're just for games. I'm sorry you felt i was fussy about your computer,I will still count your original entry and everyone elses. I feel really bad about this now, I was trying to spread some Christmas magic but now i feel like it's all been sucked out of me.

Let me apologize, I was having a really rough day yesterday, and that clearly resulted in me taking what you said way harsher than intended. It just kinda felt like I was singled out for some reason, when there were similar things already in the thread.

I definitely didn't mean to bring people down. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I love sharing it with others. I look forward to seeing more of other people's favorite gifts in this thread.

I’m sorry you were having a rough day, but glad it was just a misunderstanding! Hoping you no longer feel that you were singled out or picked on.

I checked out Tonka’s post and she posted a vintage video game console (Atari), not a computer. I understand your confusion and frustration though - it totally looks like one. :)
