HELP! Game Development Issue

Hi lovely moderators,

I absolutely love the games feature and have way too many ideas for games! I have been starting a thread and labeling it closed to build it without anyone trying to comment or join the game. For example, I am developing a game that I plan to open at 8am PST on 11/28/25. I have been able to edit it up until yesterday. I cannot make any changes to it now.

It would be great if we had a "coming soon" prefix that allowed us to start building a game prior to release but made it clear that it was not yet open or a finished game. This Black Friday game is going to be time sensitive (pricing tiers will be based on time of the day they join and there will be bonus prizes for speedy players), so I would like people to be able to see it prior to opening the game.

I've moved the thread you referenced back into the game forum. When you clicked "Complete Game" (as below); the original game thread goes into the "Completed Games" archive forum where it is locked and no longer available for editing or new posts.



The suggestion you've made is a good one! I've created a new "Pending Game" prefix that people can use in the Games subforum:





When A game thread has a "Pending Game" prefix, clicking on "START GAME" will automatically change the prefix to .
