Hi everyone!
I found this forum during my rabbit-hole search for VMK pins for my collection. I fell in love with pins after visiting WDW as a kid and getting flyers to play VMK. I've collected dozens of pins over the years and going to Disneyland when I lived near DL. I've been on the hunt for some rarer Virtual Magic Kingdom pins but haven't had any luck yet.

If anyone has any, feel free to shoot a pm. I also love Stitch and WDW/DL pins! :stitch:

I don't have any of those VMK pins, but best of luck with your search. One of the most important things I've learned with this hobby is that patience is essential. If you wait long enough, if you're meant to own a pin, it'll find its way to you, whether through purchase, trade, or zap.

I have been seeing Numbers for pins talked about, but do not see any listed on the few pins I have and have seen backing posted. Where are the numbers coming from? Also Is there a printable list of pins, sets info, and release dates that we could download and print up? I like printed checklist to mark off what I have and reference to. Do not always want to keep looking up on internet and doing my own list takes a lot of time. Any help would be appreciated. Guess my new at this is coming out.

The numbers are assigned by the various databases as the pins are entered. Each database is independent, so the numbers do not cross coorelate. Different databases: PinPics, PinTeadingDB, PinandPop are just a few.

Thanks, I have so much info and investigating that I am looking into that I'm having a hard time keeping up. Plus I have been checking around to different sale sites to buy batches of random pins to have pins to compare and learn as to sets, fakes from what I am reading and learning. I am excited as I get my first package tomorrow. Got some that I bought that come at a price per pin of $1.50 or less. Don't want to spend a lot for each as I am tying to build up my collection and ones to trade. Well have to look for a database to use for check listing. Thanks

Be careful of buying bulk lots as they are often counterfeit.

I know, I am not picky, well keep real and fake. I have been collecting all kinds of pins and that is why I do not want to pay a lot for them. But I would keep the fake along with real but will trade ONLY real pins as I know most only want the real. I will be asking a lot as to if I do not know if real or not to see if they are.

Not everyone is into making a lot of money of them. Got a lot coming from local people that just do not want any more and getting the for $1.00 each as they finding people that want them. Going thru some I got today and so far out of 10 only 2 are fake still have a lot to go.
