Hello Everyone,

My name is Richard and I recently got into Disney Pin Trading on my last trip to Disneyland. I found out about this message board by going to a garage sale. I bought a few pins and the guy there told me about this website. I'm also in to Vinylmations too and I've been following Vinylmations for about a year. However, I don't know anything about the pins. I hope to learn more and hopefully make it to a meet in the Nor Cal area sometime.
 
Hi Richard, welcome to the forum. This is certainly the place to start learning about the pins and looking at Pinpics.com will give you an idea of some of the trinkets on offer. When you are more settled it would be interesting to see which ones you found at the garage sale :)

He had a lot for sale and knew what prices he wanted for the pins. I basically asked for pins that were cheaper to take with me on my next trip to trade. I got about 20 for $2 each they were mostly Disney characters in star wars costumes, and some haunted mansion pins and a few mickeys. I also picked up a castle pin for $3. He was really nice and told me where I could get a good looking pin board. From the garage sale, I went straight to Target and picked up a pin board and put it together.

I just wanted to also say welcome to the second happiest place on earth… You will find out very quickly how friendly and welcoming our pin trading family is I am sure… If you ever have questions feel free to ask anyone, everybody here is helpful… Good luck on finding some pins and collectables while here on the forum as well as meeting some great people… Also feel free to contact me anytime regarding trading pins we love to trade… our wants and traders are listed to the left like everyone else’s are… Again have fun and welcome to the DPF…
