Anyone have a Grail you look and look for and finally comes up somewhere?????

I, like most of you, have an eBay alert anytime any of my key words come up. At about 7:30 pm, my iPhone alarmed with my special sound came on. I jumped to my phone and checked. I can't believe its up for auction again. The last one sold for auction for $180 a little over a year ago. I messaged the seller saying I would pay $$$ and fees for ending the auction. Before he could think of doing it for me, the pin went supper crazy and is way over the price quoted him.

Good luck to who ever wins and I still want. Anyone got one to trade????

This belongs to my UP collection but need another one for my DSF Less than LE 300 collection (its 1 of the last 5 pins I need for that theme). Maybe one day.

I just saw that price... insane

Also the fact that it is 3 people bidding is a little fishy, but none of them are new to ebay

Based on the last true auction of $180 and the want/trade ratio was 0/120, That is about right for the pin since the ratio today is 3/188. I am thinking it will end at $400. anything over that is a bankroller that just needs to have it and not a true collector.

Awww, so depressing. Just completely reinforced the fact that I will never EVER get this in my UP collection. Major "waaaaa, waaaaaa" sound! I would have paid $200 for it if anyone has one they just gotta sell, ha! I think I just puked in my mouth a little....

By the way master, so jealous! Never seen it in person. Also admiring your FX up pin as well! To think I could have walked in and just bought that!! I started pin trading like a couple months too late!!!!!! @@&!$%#^^!

So because someone has the means to outbid others to own a highly sought after pin makes them a "bankroller" and not a collector. I thought that was the reason for low edition items to make them highly desired and potentially valuable. A pin is only worth how much someone is willing to pay for it, and at this moment someone is going to spend ALOT to own that pin. Good for them.

I've been known to throw ungodly sums of money at something I really want. Doesn't have to be pins. If I want it, and I have the cash more power.

I totally agree Adam. When I really want a pin or something in general, I'll find the money somehow to get it. :fig:

Also reading the main post by Master, stating the pin was seen over a year ago on ebay so if it that scarce to appear on ebay then I think the price shows the demand for this pin especially the wants vs trades.

If the pin wasnt seen on ebay for a year and the wants vs trades goes higher then when it does show up the price will be quite high I think that is common sense lol I paid $100 when I got it 2 years ago so I dont find the price to high. People must have been waiting for it to show up on ebay.

Up, Tangled, and a few others are the reason I know I will NEVER complete my Marquee set. Doesn't mean I won't keep going. DSF has released more than enough NBC marquee's, lets get some others. Up 5 year anniv. marquee coming to you in 2014!!! Let's make it happen, keep bugging the DSF folks till they do it. A cool scene in the jungle with Dug, Kevin, Russel, and Carl would be perfecto! Like Kevin choking on chocolate, doug pointing at a squirrel, Carl pulling a saliva covered tennis ball off his walker, and Russel doing the Wilderness Explorer sign with his hands!!!

Id prefer not to have another UP Marquee as not a single person outside of the US would have a chance and would automatically be like $100 on the secondary market as no one would sell it cheap when the first one was gold dust.

And people it is DUG not Doug one pet peeve of mine lol

I would love to add the DSF UP Marquee to my UP collection. I am blown away that MASTER has one already (WELL DONE!!). I was looking at the way the bidding was done by the potential buyers since I was surprised to see so many bids with so many days remaining for the sale. Does anyone else find it strange that the second bidder put 30 bids on top of each other, but only went up a dollar or two with each bid? I have never seen anyone bid like that before but maybe I am missing the logic. Is it to make people think their high bid is actually higher than it may be? Or am I missing something here....Opinions???? Debby

I was the second bidder, bored at home, I put a feeler out to see how high the bid was above mine, bidding the minimum bid each time for the heck of it. There would be no way I would throw a large bid down this early in the game. Occasionally that's how I bid, especially if I am bored and curious to see if I can be the top bidder for even a short amount of time, and I was haha for less than 5 minutes but I WAS! If I actually thought I even had the remotest chance of winning the thing I wouldn't have even bid yet, but I knew this thing would take off like a rocket so I decided to join in the race for the heck of it. Boredom and curiosity. Thats all.
