I'm really hopeless now. A friend went to go get me the Tangled because my birthday day is tommorow and they weren't able to get one. If this is how everything will be I have no hope of ever getting the Lionking one ;u;

tangled was only this bad because it is super popular right now normally you will get one if you go in the morning on a release day

He's right today was a crazy day of people running and pushing. I have a torn ACL so I limped to the line luckily my gf and friend have 2 good legs so they got a decent spot.
 
Does anyone still have an extra one they are willing to trade/sell? I just wanted one for my collection, and since I normally go on my lunch breaks to the park, i wouldn't have stood a chance, since I couldn't go in the morning. Please pm me! Thx! =)
 
Well.... I didn't bother with westward ho. Instead I went to LGM, and got mine :X It wasn't too chaotic until some people were arguing with a CM for no reason ^^;
 
Does anyone know if these are sold out at WDW yet?


So my sister went to MK, Epcot, and Contemporary and everywhere she went they had the gondola/lantern scenes. At a few places she saw some with Maximus, but other people already had them in their hands to purchase them. It really is kind of luck...if you happen to be there when they open a new bag of these with different scenes.

None of them are bad though...which is the main thing! Now we are getting TOO picky...

"I have an awesome gondola scene, but I WISH I had one with Pascal and Maximus too!" Haha.
 
World of Disney at DLR didn't put any out until 10am and I just happened to be on my way out to go back to work and thought, what the heck? Worth a shot! Just a couple of people in front of me and they brought out some new bags and that's the only Maximus I saw. I guess they told the early morning people they didn't have any to ward off the sharks. I got 2 at LGM, 2 at WwHo and 2 at WoD. I really wish I would have taken more time to look through more at LGM but the CM's only wanted to give you 3 or 4 and then push you along. I saw the lady that was yelling at the CM. She was stuck behind a second rope blocking the 9am people from the magical morning people. They finally let the rope down and she ended up getting her two. But she was probably number 75 in line so the scenes were really picked over by then. I heard DCA Fly n' Buy had only 30 total. Although that might have been a rumor to stop people from coming over there. I heard Toon Town was sold out pretty quick after a ton of people from Westward Ho ran there. Masquered in New Orleans Square had around 100 or so but they were all accounted for with people in line by 9:40 and that store opens at 9:30. A lucky few got to LGM first, Emporium 2nd, WwHo 3rd, and Wod 4th for 8 pins. Maybe 4 or 5 people max got 8 plus per person.
 
Wow, our experience was completely calm.

This is Florida, btw- I had some friends at MGM at opening. There was maybe only 5 people with them at the hat.

I arrived at DtD at around 11 AM. Walked right up and got some. They would break open a new "pack" of 10 if you asked. There were usually one or two Maximus pins per pack. I saw one or two other traders I recognized, but we all came in far enough part that we didn't have to line up.

Between the 3 of us, we got 2 Maximus (one w/ Rapunzel, and one with him and Flynn staring each other down), and most of the other were Gondola pics, but really *excellent* shots of it...

I have no idea how the other Parks were, or how DtD was at opening, but when I came back to get my car at 7 PM, there were still 7 or so left at DtD, but the scenes were pretty crappy.

Everyone was nice, and plenty of good scenes. Maybe we just avoided the bad spots or people or something...

I just got home, too tired to post pics now, but I'm super happy with my finds. At WDW found two different scenes with Maximus, rapunzle, Flynn and pascal on her shoulder. Only one scene I saw beats what I have, the one of everyone gathering her hair. It's up to $157 on eBay now with two days left.
 


No, I seriously think it's a DLR thing A woman was having a panic attack, and a few other people got in arguments with CMs because they couldn't see more than 4 at a time. One of the CMs who helped me actually was really frustrated with them... so he kind of let me look at a little more and helped me find the scenes I wanted since I was polite :'D
 
Just out of curiosity...does anyone know if you are able to "switch out" a PODM pin you bought for a different one? My sister got me a few this morning...but if I am able to go to WDW in the morning and they happen to have a scene I like better (just speculating), am I able to switch out my previously purchased pin for the new pin? Has anyone done this before?
 
I don't live anywhere near the parks, but I'd love to trade/buy one of these pins.... I'm not picky about scene, would just love any for my collection. Please PM me if you have any available! ^____^
 

Yeah, I did it at the pin hut. Of course, I bought mine, and I was waiting to meet with my friends, they opened another pack, then I asked if I could just swap- same CM and everything. Others might be more anal.
