Surprise Piece of History Alice in Wonderland/White Rabbit pin at Disneyland.

My daughters are visiting Disneyland today and they were told there is a surprise Piece of History pin featuring the White Rabbit. Can anybody verify if this is in fact a surprise pin or is one that was schedule to be released.

More pin releases nowadays are "surprise" releases at the resorts since they have only been releasing a 'limited' flyer of monthly releases. It was not shown on the monthly flyer for December, but it is indeed out today. I don't know if it was previewed previously, I don't remember it. There was also a Walt Disney Day release today.
 
They no longer post all the pins up and just put a select few on a flyer now.

Just hope it lasts till I can get there this weekend or next. Think it will look lovely next to the previous Alice POH. :)
 
They still had some as of Saturday night. I meant to get one and then remembered that I never went back for it while in the car on my drive back home. I don't know if they've sold out since then.

Hey, I have a question about this pin!

Is the White Rabbit supposed to be moveable? I want to know if my pin is loose or if it's supposed to be this way, because as of right now he can swing from side to side and it just seems like an odd thing to do on a PODH to me? It arrived in the mail like this so I have no idea! Thanks!

Question- slightly off-topic, but I figured it would be better to ask here than start a new thread...was there a PODH release for the months of October and November? The last one I'm aware of prior to this new Alice one is the one from Monsters, Inc. that was released in September. I know that there had been pins released each month since January of this year, but lately I haven't stayed on top of pins. So did they just skip two months?

There was supposed to be a Rivers of America PODH pin in October but I guess they never released it. I saw a picture of it on a website I stumbled upon trying to figure out why the website isn't showing the upcoming pins. Unfortunately, there's no sign of a November one either. I wish I knew about the Alice one:sad:
