TRADING TEMPORARY: Pinpics traders, the sequel

So I had a brainstorm! Archive.org isn't the only way to get a cached copy of the site. It will fall off eventually but the various search engines archive copies too. So some Google magic...

And since I can post in the Marketplace the old way, I can copy it over so people can at least use it as a reference and @swscref doesn't have to recreate everything. Then when the permissions issues get sorted we can have a thread for real.

This is a copy from January 31, 2021, it says the last edit of the first post was Oct 26, 2020.

The is the continuation of a previous thread, Trading: - Pinpics traders, that is no longer being updated due to an inactive creator.

This is now the place that you will list traders that you would like to refer to other members due to a positive experience, or inquire about traders that are not listed in hopes of hearing a positive response. For the most up to date and a more detailed list, including referrers and search, go to DPFReference.com.

Rules

1. List is primarily for listing Pin Pics traders DPF members would like to refer to other members due to a positive trading experience. If you would like to refer someone from another site (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) or a DPF member that currently has under 3 positive trade ratings, please feel free to do so.
2. Once a DPF member on the list reaches 3+ positive trade ratings, they will be removed from the list. The only exception to this rule is when a DPF member name differs from that of the other site they are a referral from. This is to assist with an easier cross reference.

To locate feedback for DPF members, please use DPF "search" feature in upper right corner of the page. Enter the DPF user name, click on their member page in right column and then click on their 'feedback' profile.

Pinpics (PP), Instagram or Facebook usernames listed below were added by a DPF member who had a positive experience with the specific trader in the past. By adding a username from another web site, the DPF member has agreed to provide positive feeback/reference for that user. This list is not a guarantee of future trading success and all members looking to engage in a trade over the internet, should always use caution and good judgement.

Interesting revisiting this thread while pinpics is problematic. nhardman is on this list; I haven't traded with him but pinpics currently has me logged in as him and he has 2141 unread messages.... kind of makes me inclined to say we should either remove his name or put in paranetheses something like "(not confirmed active as of 2021)." Reaching out to traders who never answer gets frustrating.

I traded with nhardman in January, for me he was very easy to trade with after our initial contact we moved to email, we ended up trading 15 pins in total.

My guess about nhardman . . . I would say he only reads messages that he wants to. It is hit or miss whether he answers. I traded once. Have been in negotiation multiple other times. I find he will answer a trade request and usually offer totally different pins, usually in his favour. If you try and counter offer anything, you never get a response back. Just my interaction with him over the past couple of years. And I'd say I've done this over a dozen times.

Did a fun trade with PinPics member chaith1. Very friendly and very easy to work with! Also mailed their pins first, even and I didn't even ask!

On the other hand, member Silvertigerlily7 is rather rude, so I wouldn't go out of my way to write to them. Don't read messages and write rude rejection responses.

So, a good and a bad experience!
