Mad Tea Party

This ended up being my Alice overflow board, as well as the place for my hats, shoes, and Mickey icon food. Put it all together and it's... sort of a mad tea party? :D

I took most of these photos this morning and yet it's still not complete because there's a bunch of pins I haven't put up yet! Aaaaaaaaa! :D

That is a super cute board idea! You managed to cut the shape really nicely as well.
Keep up the good work!! :)

Hee thanks! :) Sketched it in chalk first, and cut it out with an X-acto knife once I had it where I wanted it. I'm all bouncy proud of it. :D

Very nice. I might have to make a hat for my latest Alice pins. You have started a great collection, keep it up.

Really creative! You should put it on Pinterest; collectors are always looking for display ideas there. :)

Thanks so much everyone! :) :) :)

Hm, maybe I will put it up on my Pinterest. I don't know if collectors will find me. But I have a board that's just for things I like looking at during my work day. This definitely counts. :)

This a GREAT way to do it. I was actually looking on Pinterest looking for ways to display them on my walls that was organized by types. The only thing I really saw was using an outline in a picture frame and then putting the pins on the sides. I really like this better. You can cut out all the different char in just pin them right on the symbol. I see a Mickey head, Mickey Icon, Donald...

So great.

I really like that idea! What a great way to display your pins! I was glueing ribbon on to my display board today - after that I definately appreciate the work you put in here!

Love the creative hat board!!! Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve for your future pins :D

Ohhh, I'm not the sharpest fox in the drawer. I just realized what I bought was not coroplast but foam board.

Still works fine, but differently I'm sure... has anyone had any long-term problems using foam board (the hard stuff, not the soft stuff you can roll up) as pin boards? My first one is foam board covered in velvet, and I just finished covering another piece in fabric. I need to make a third one (I'm not an addict! Really!) and am thinking of getting slightly thicker foam board, but I'm wondering whether I should be switching to something else.
