It says designer fairies. Disney doesn't have to follow a set pattern, they can release how ever many designer and or LE dolls they want. Whenever they want. By just releasing two dolls Id say they are testing the waters on fairies. This is super awesome :D so many dolls this year lol
 
I am very confused with the pricing of the New Fairy Designer Dolls.
So in the USA they will cost $59.95 per doll but in the UK they will cost £50.00 per doll! Wow, Disney really have it in for us in the UK.
If we convert £ into $ they should cost $99 in the USA!
I think a call to the UK head office will have to be made.
 
So...just Tinker Bell and Zarina, then? That's kind of a bummer. Guess I'll just get Tink and display her with my princesses instead of trying to find a spare shelf for a slew of LE fairies. :p

No body knows how popular these dolls are. I don't want them, but seems like a lot of people do.
Some sell out right away, others takes days, but if you want these dolls, order them as soon as they're released, since no matter what, they won't get cheaper once they're sold out and counting on them ending up on clearance is a far stretch. Especially Tinkerbell.

Overall the Disney dolls are getting more and more popular. Before even with the popular dolls, like Rapunzel it took some time for them to sell out, now it's a matter of minutes.

But, don't buy these dolls in hopes of selling them for the double, because you never know how it goes. Like a lot of the Disney villains and Merida for that matter sells around their retail price - some even less.

Thanks ,Were did you find the uk release and price? Is their a page for the Uk? I'm super excited! I don't usually like the designers and just collect the 17 inch LE. But Tinks is a must! She's stunning, I love how dainty she looks, she really looks like a fairy :)

I love how dainty and natural Tink's dress looks! It looks like it's made of leaves and vines! I'm so relieved they are only doing these two for now because I'm honestly getting stressed about collecting and how many LE dolls they've been putting out lately plus the regular merchandise I want. Luckily I only want Tink!
 
They are both soooo pretty! What y'all got against Zarina? I see most people saying that they are going to try for Tink, while Zarina is being cast out :( I'm not complaining, because then there will be a better chance for me to get her, but I am still quite curious.
 
I think it's because nobodies seen the movie with Zarina in it:) Me personally am just getting Tinks as she's so iconic! Has Tinks got a different body to the princess's? Her legs look so dainty and pretty!

I love the look of Zarina! I'll be getting her and not Tink. So glad that the European market is getting 1000 of these - there shouldn't be too many problems getting hold of them (I'm still nervous about getting the new Frozen dolls when they're released...500 is a joke!)

no I am not hoping to sell these just wondered if they will be hard to get for a close to retail price if I didn't order them. Think I may just get thinks as like said before she is most popular and iconic
 
Probably because we haven't seen the movie yet. I also don't like how her clothes don't look too fairy like. I know she's a pirate but one of the things I love about the Disney Fairies is the close ties to nature.

That's what I had assumed at first, but then I realized that people planned on buying the LE Frozen dolls before Frozen had come out/before they had seen Frozen.

Whatevs, though, I'll just sit here, trying to contain my excitement for the movie. :D

I noticed that about her clothes, too! I believe it has to do with her meeting the pirates and maybe giving them to her so she looks like on of them? Seems like a reasonable explanation to me, but I hope we will find out when the movie comes out.

I'm sure that's it. They probably made her little clothes or gave her material. :)

Well me personally I wouldn't buy a doll of a character I haven't seen before but Elsa was an exception, she was blonde and pretty so I wanted her before seeing the movie or knowing who the character was lol.
 
I don't collect the dolls nor do I have any interest in them. But I don't like the fact it's about fairies instead of princesses. I was looking forward to the next designer pins, but now I'm not that sure.

true, but Frozen is a "real" Disney movie, whereas Tink movies arent Walt Disney Animation, so fewer people see them/they arent as big of a deal.

There was a booth for the movie at the last D23 Expo, so some of us had a very early preview of Zarina clips. She's feisty! Look at Periwinkle's popularity - almost nil before Secret of the Wings and now...I suspect Zarina will grow on people once the movie has come out...
