Chat help please
Firefox and Chrome have put a stop to downloading Java at all for the time being due to a possible security problem. IE is the only one that works now.
Hi! Do you try with cc cleaner? Maybe if you clean your computer , works again?
I think it's what used to be known as Crap Cleaner, cleans files etc on computer. What is the cc cleaner?
What is the cc cleaner?
This : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CCleaner
I use it to clean the computer, sometimes crashing programs or things such as what happened to you with java, and when they start walking this program solves the errors..
Thank you for the information. I tried it and still no luck. Stupid Java!!!!
I downloaded latest version 7 on friday, went to Java Control Panel Update today and it said I need to get "Java 7 Update 13" and did it from there, make sure you check for updates.
It didn't work for me after reopened my browser, I restarted my computer then tried it again, messing about a bit and it worked!
I have downloaded the latest version. The computer has been shut off since so the only thing I haven't done is "mess about a bit", can you tell me what you did and what navigator are you using please?
i do still get the message that it is "out of date", but hitting "run anyway..." in chrome still works.
Download whatever java you want. The go to tools on firefox and go to add-ons. Your Java maybe updated but it may also be disabled EVEN IF IT WORKS FOR OTHER THINGS. Like youtube may still work.

May sure you enable it. Make sure ANYTHING JAVA is enabled.

It may still pop up like this. If you see this look at the top and see if you find the red or yellow lego block. Click it. Select ALLOW ALL or ACTIVATE ALL PLUG-INS
you may have to do this everytime you enter chat. (Step 2 not 1 unless your fire wall disables it each time!)
Should work now.
ACTUALLY:
DELETE ALL OF YOUR JAVA.
Alot of times when Java updates it just leaves the others in the computer. Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program
Have the list change to the names in alphabetical order and see how many Javas you have. My recommendation is to delete ALL of them and re download THIS Java Plug-in:
