DPF 10th Anniversary Giveaway #8 - RESULTS POSTED; POST #4
And finally a helpful tip for anyone that doesn't already know, when you are in the Stretching Room of the Haunted Mansion, stand under the portrait of the woman with the parasol. When the show is done, that is where the door will be!
Here's trivia I discovered:
This may only be the case at WDW. Disneyland's doors appear in the wall between two portraits while at Tokyo, the door appears beneath different portraits for the two rooms. I go by muscle memory which should be accurate for all three parks. For the room on the left, the exit is right relative to the entrance while for the room on the right, it's left relative to the entrance. The entrance and exit are 90 degrees apart with one wall between them.
So, similar to Connie's trivia, besides Minnie, who is the other female mouse Disney animated?Okay. I'm putting in my entry for this one.
And, yes...I had to Google some Disney trivia.
Didn't know this one.
Is Marcus Mouse a Disney character?
Yes.
Marcus Mouse is a Disney character but certainly a lesser-known one. And where does he come from? Well, should Mickey want to marry Minnie one day, he's going to have to talk to Marcus at some point. Why? Because Marcus Mouse is Minnie's father!
And me, a Minnie Mouse pin Collector.
The shame. LoL
(Edit: here's a little more info and a picture. Gosh, he looks more like Minnie's grandfather.)
Marcus Mouse is Minnie Mouse's stern father. He is a farmer, and runs the family farm with his wife. He first appeared in A 'Pot' Shot, an illustrated Mickey Mouse verse from 1930. He was still unnamed, and shown throwing a pot at Mickey's head while the latter is giving a serenade to Minnie.
