DSF June releases! BRAVE PINS!

Melody time...really? I'm so confused by their choices. ha! Toy story? nope. Tangled? nope. Princess and frog? nope. UP? nope. Wall-e? nope. Bolt even? nope. steamboat willie would even make sense to me and would also look cool in B & W. Ooh, a whole release of B&W "classic" beloved tales would be cool. :)

Each time I hear of a beloved tales release, I do a little prayer in my head while i open the .jpg and pray it's one of the above mentioned.

I do like winnie the pooh though :) Guess being a beloved tales completist I will have to just buy melody time anyway. It can get put in the drawer with my herbie beloved tales, haaaaa!
 
Yeah Melody time is one of the 50 official Disney movies. Definitely one of the not-so-good ones lol. There are PLENTY of other movies they could do: Up (still praying for this one), Wall-E, Tangled, Princess & Frog, Cars, Tarzan, The Incredibles, Bug's Life, Enchanted, Toy Story :)

I'm guessing Pixar movies aren't part of the "animated" movies because those were computer made? but so was Tangled wasn't it. DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THAT LOL
 
Ones I want that have not been done (and not mentioned above) Tarzan, NBC, Petes Dragon, Pirates, Emporers new groove, Incredibles, Brother Bear, Country Bears, Monsters Inc, Brave little toaster.


Ones I dont really care about but still better than Melody Time - Valiant, Chicken Little, Home on the range, Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Rescuers.

Yeah, I'm just glad this series are classic drawings and no digital scenes. I would love an UP but really don't want another sleepover.

I am glad DSF isn't doing only profit pins and making ones that haven't been made or made in quite awhile. Keeping it fresh even though you may not like someone does.

Guess I'll see you there at the Brave release.

The 50 on the list are Disney Animated Classics, Pixar don't count in that as they are Disney Pixar not just Disney. That's why Tangled is on there but say Toy Story isn't. They should still do more than the 50 classics on beloved tales pins though as pirates and such would look good :). Is there a Who Framed Roger Rabbit one? If not... there needs to be! Along with Tarzan as I find there is a lack of good tarzan pins out there!

I reeeeeally want the Oliver and Co. one though! The bear cubs are kinda adorable too ^_^
 
I'm not saying that no one likes it . . I just have never seen it or heard of anyone who collects it. I am guessing they will be sitting on the shelf for quite some time - so I am surprised by their chocie. Hoping to be able to make it to the Brave release - buit i work friday mornings so noit sure if i will be able to get it off . . . only time will tell lol . . . .

They are doing a wide variety not just animated classics. Look at Marry Poppins and Herby those arent animated.

In the case of sequels I think I'd die if they did a Lion King 2 one! Kova and Kiara are adorable! Reeeeeeeeally want a pin of them in my collection :)
But that would open it up to things like Pocahontas 2 and such... ehem my less favourite sequels

Toy story 2 and 3 would be great though :)
 
Heh... I actually like the Melody Time pin the most, out of all the June releases. Pretty sure I own that movie too. Have to rumage through the DVD collection and watch it again.
 
i hope the next month after this they have a special Spider man release on my bday(july3rd) cuz i would love to have it, eventhough spider man isnt owned by disney yet

(in a technical movie sense, thats why theyre doing a "remake" and why he wasnt in the avengers, xmen and ghost rider are owned by fox right now thats why wolverine wasnt in the avengers either and why theyre making another ghost rider eventhough theh last one was ehh)

I believe that in the comic books SpiderMan joins the Avengers later, I THINK not sure.

Oh, and Spider Man is Marvel so he is owned by Disney

Oh No!!! Not another Pooh pin. Please can someone help me get this Pooh Pin???? I wish I did not live all the way across the country from DSF.
 
yea, hes not a first generation, but he is part of the fan fav team of Iron Man, Cpt America, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, and Spider Man
but believe me, if they had added spider man and wolverine instead of black widow and hawkeye it would have drawn even more people, not saying that the movie wasnt good cuz it was freakin amazing

its just licenses and contracts that kept them away, maybe in avengers 3 when they fight galactus... they have to put galactus to top thanos

apocolypse wouldnt be too bad but they need the xmen license
