DSF June releases! BRAVE PINS!
yea, hes not a first generation, but he is part of the fan fav team of Iron Man, Cpt America, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, and Spider Man
but believe me, if they had added spider man and wolverine instead of black widow and hawkeye it would have drawn even more people, not saying that the movie wasnt good cuz it was freakin amazing

its just licenses and contracts that kept them away, maybe in avengers 3 when they fight galactus... they have to put galactus to top thanos

apocolypse wouldnt be too bad but they need the xmen license

I want X-Men pins hehe Is black widow still in the Avengers later on? Do you know?

someone can go ahead and correct me here but i believe that she isnt, depends on what series or edition of the avengers you look at

(in a technical movie sense, thats why theyre doing a "remake" and why he wasnt in the avengers, xmen and ghost rider are owned by fox right now thats why wolverine wasnt in the avengers either and why theyre making another ghost rider eventhough theh last one was ehh)

Haha WHAT, stop me if I am wrong but are you talking about a 3rd Ghost Rider? Because the last two were sooo fabulous...

the contracts say that they will expire if not used in a certain amount of time, thats why we had xmen origins and now we have a remake of a movie thats only 11 years old

Oh, mylanta!

I am sooo fracking excited! They are all so beautiful (the Brave pins, that is)! I can't even pick which one I'm most excited about. And how did they know that I would be needing a Brave Stained Glass pin? Those sly little devils!

Eeek!

I might get a Pooh BT or something for trade only. The Brave pins are ok. I think I'll get the Marquee for my collection, maybe the stained glass pin, and the cub 3-pin set might be a good trader set to get since you get 3 LE300's for $19. I might have to see the movie first to see what pins to get. Like Tangled, if you told me a Chameleon was on 2 or 3 pins I would have thought who cares? But then Pascal steals the show and everyone loves him. Will these cubs be the next Pascal? If so, there's 3 pins for the cubs then.

Those Brave pins are really nice looking. The stained glass one really stands out to me.

*sigh* if only I lived closer.

I'm not sure that is a Stained Glass pin - it looks more like a Tartan Plaid design. - Oh, I was just able to read the title, it IS a Tartan design stained glass pin - WAY COOL!!!!

FYI, the cubs are the triplets (Hamish, Hubert and Harris) under a curse... seen here: http://thedisneyblog.com/2012/04/17/new-brave-trailer-meet-the-triplets/

Who knows YoSoyAhPuch... it's a Friday release so that can play a role in overnight stays, but then again, the Marvel pins sold out immediately and it too was a Friday release. It's one of those mind games you have to conquer.

The Marvel pins sold out morning of but people that came at 9am still got a set. There were like 15 people that stayed the night for the Avengers, the first people came on Thursday morning!? The brave pins I am 100% positive there will be people staying overnight, but maybe 30 or 40 at most. I'm guessing you can still come the morning of before 8am and still get a set. The pins are good but not great. Like everyone says, the Jessica Decades were still there after the line went through. I'm guessing of these Brave pins the Marquee will go first and you gotta be there by 9-9:30 to get it. The Stained glass and the one with the horse will go second, maybe around early afternoon, possibly a few make it to Saturday morning? The 3 cubs will be there for a day or two+ my guess, since they are $18.95, but they are 3 pins for that price. I just wish they were distinguishable. They all look like the same bear.

As I always say, if you want to garauntee you get a set, 5:30am is earlier than most people show up unless there is a Tangled, Up, or some other crazy wanted pin. I'm guessing 7am will even be safe for these Brave pins. The Marquee will definetly go morning of though. You figure the line will be go through the registers by 11, if there are any marquee's available after 11:30-12 I'd be suprised. Don't forget on big releases like these there is a potential for a suprise pin and a new Pin Trader Delight might make it out if enough people buy the one being offered. The Jasmine PTD is nice and won't last long, if they keep the new characters coming they will need to install a revolving door!

People get mad when a release gets hyped. People are going to come when they come. If you show up at 5am because someone told you to then you are obviously willing to stay 4 hours in line for the pins. Why be upset just because someone came at 9 and only stood 1 hour. Did you get what you wanted? Gamble if you like. I'll be there early to for sure get that Marquee in my Marquee collection. I think I'm over 40 marquee's now. Sad thing is I'm probably only half way done and then Up, Tangled, Wall-E are standing in my completionist way!

Haha... markheadjr, have you seen what 2 of those Up marquees went for on eBay? That's going to be a steep hill to climb. I'd put the Tangled marquee at ~$150 and the Wall-E almost around the same and you have yourself a mountain. My friend has the Tangled and the Wall-E marquees but spent some nice pretty pennies to get them. Good luck with those!

I'm hoping some day some time a great pin comes along that I have the chance to purchase or trade for and is equally worth one of those marquee's. (Maybe a Monsters University next year??) The Avenger's Marquee some day will be a $100 pin, it's already a $65 pin. Maybe in a year or two someone with a Wall-e will decide they really want an Avengers marquee and I can add in a 101 Dalmations or some other marquee to coax it out of them. Perhaps when I go to DLRP I can snag a nice trading night pin that is close to being worthy of a Tangled or Wall-E marquee? The UP pin, since it is so rare even in the pin trading community will always be way out of my price range. Maybe some day it will come down to $350 but with the economy the way it is and it still pulls in $500 that's not a good sign...

I believe that in the comic books SpiderMan joins the Avengers later, I THINK not sure.

Oh, and Spider Man is Marvel so he is owned by Disney

Other studios have the motion picture rights to both Spider-Man (Sony / Columbia Pictures - 1985) and the X-Men (20th Century Fox - 1994) before Disney bought Marvel. Not likely that Spider-Man or any of the X-Men would show up in a Disney produced file

I like your thinking markheardjr! Haha I really wish you the best of luck in your marquee collection... It's been fun just watching my friends rack them in so I'm sure you'll be able to pull something off some day!
